Any competitor found to have breached the ASC disputes and disciplinary regulations will be investigated by the ASC Disciplinary Committee and dealt with accordingly.

4 CONDITIONS OF ENTRY FOR RING EVENTS 1. All competitors compete at their own risk. Parkes P A & H Association requires the signing of a waiver to indemnify the Association against claims and collection of a wristband which is to be worn at all times before entering the ring 2. The Parkes P A & H Association has a zero tolerance of performance enhancing drugs. Drug testing may be carried out at this show and any competitor found to have breached the ASC Disputes & Disciplinary regulations will be investigated by the ASC Disciplinary Committee and dealt with accordingly 3. Stallions will not be allowed to compete in Harness or Hack Classes unless otherwise stated 4. Horses ages to date from the 1 st August 5. Event entry tickets to be produced on demand 6. If any doubt arises, or if any protest is entered against the correctness of any entry, the Committee may demand a Statutory Declaration, and/or shall call upon the person or persons lodging the protest and shall take evidence for and against the matter in dispute. Any protest must be made in writing and accompanied by $100 and lodged with the Secretary on the day of the Award. The fee of $100 may be forfeited should the Committee deem the protest to be frivolous. The right to protest is limited to the defeated competitor. The decision of the Committee is final. 7. Protest Committee: Ringmaster and Executive. 8. No exhibitor or associate will initiate conversation with a judge on judging day, before or after judging except through the Ringmaster or Chief Steward 9. Any exhibitor having made a false entry shall be subject to all or any of the following penalties: forfeiture of prizes and ribbons; forfeiture of permission to exhibit on the Parkes Showground; and expulsion from the Parkes P A & H Assoc. 10. The Committee reserves the right to alter or vary the Horse schedule at any time. 11. All exhibitors of horses must be bona fide owners or representatives of the owners of the exhibit at the time of entry and no two owners shall be allowed to enter an exhibit unless they constitute a bona fide firm. 12. Only ribbons and prizes won at the 2018 Parkes Show shall be allowed in the competition or presentation areas 13. Competitors must compete in head wear applicable to the event in which they are competing: Hacks, Equestrian, Ponies and Children's events 14. Competitors in ring events must pay entry fees before competing. 15. No person or persons, except competitors in the class being decided, will be allowed past the marshalling area. 16. Competitors in all events must appear in proper riding attire. 17. No competitor shall use any distinguishing equipment in open events. 18. The programme of events will show exhibitors the order of judging. This will be adhered to as closely as possible and the exhibitor must be ready to enter the ring when called or the class may be judged without them 19. Any exhibitor not being present with his or her horse at the time of roll call, which will be taken 5 minutes before the commencement of the event, will not be permitted to compete in such event. 20. Birth certificates in all age classes must be supplied if requested at the direction of the stewards. 21. All competitors compete at their own risk. Parkes P A & H Association may require proof of public liability insurance and will require the signing of a waiver to indemnify the Association against claims. 22. All horses require a Property Identification Code (PIC) registration & number recorded. 23. Stewards have the right to not accept an entry. 24. Local horses or riders are from within 100km radius of Parkes. 25. All competitors must pay entry to showground 26. Novice is a horse or rider that has not won a first place in a similar event at an Agricultural Show. 27. Elementary is a horse that has won no more than three first places in a similar event at an Agricultural Show. 28. Intermediate is a horse that has not won a ribbon at a Royal Show. 29. Trophy vouchers will be issued by the Ring Stewards and may be redeemed at the Secretary's showground office 30. No electronic communication devices are to be used during competitions in the arena by competitors in horse events. 31. Stallions to be led or ridden only by adults 18 years and over. 32. In the two ring system Champions in one ring cannot compete in the event in which they achieved the Champion in the second ring. 33. The judge will determine if an entry is deemed worthy of Champion Ribbon, in single entry competitions. 34. Point score: Champion 3, Reserve 2, 1 st 3, 2 nd 2, 3 rd 1. In the event of a tie a countback will be conducted. Champion, 1 st Place, Reserve 2 nd Place, 3 rd Place in that order. If the score is still deadlocked a ballot will be conducted. Horse to be worked in both directions at all paces and be a PLEASURABLE RIDE. Dress - long sleeved ANSA shirt, ANSA tie, coat or V necked jumper optional, light coloured stockman cut trousers or jodhpurs/breeches, riding boots may be long or short, gaiters may be used.
