4 GENERAL INFORMATION SHOW OFFICE: Phone number is as of Wednesday April 12, The show office is located off the main lobby. ENTRIES CLOSE March 27, Entries postmarked aier this date or received at the show will pay a post entry of $25 per new horse. AddiLonal classes for a pre-entered horse will not pay a penalty. New entries must be made 1 hour prior to the start of the show. Mail entries complete with signed entry blank, fee payment and all photocopies of membership cards and registralon cerlficates to Show Secretary Judy McManama, E 211 th, Noblesville, IN INCOMPLETE ENTRIES: Entries lacking any of the above menloned will be considered incomplete and may be returned. Exhibitor packets will not be given to exhibitors unll entry is complete. All entries must be accompanied by a valid check or money order for the full amount of all fees made out to Bridlespur. There will be an addilonal $50 charge for any check returned for any reason. Entries will only be considered complete if copies of each of the following are sent with Entry Form A. Credit Cards accepted with a 2% service fee. *In the case of a sale or lease, it is required that a copy of the sale contract or lease, or statement from the owner be submiyed with the copy of the current registralon cerlficate. All entries must be made in wrilng on an official entry form for this show or photocopies of the same. Please use a ballpoint pen or typewriter to complete entry form. Every owner, trainer, rider, driver, handler and parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor must sign the entry form and must be a member of USEF and or pay the nonmember/single event fees. A horse may be entered in the name of his recorded owner or lessee only. The complete address and phone number of the recorded owner or lessee must be given, even if an agent enters the horse. All horses belonging to one owner must be entered on one entry form per horse. No horses may be entered on more than one form. AWARDS: Prizes will be awarded 1 st -5 th in all classes. WITHDRAWALS AND REFUNDS: Entries may be scratched from the show prior to March 27, AIer the entry closing date, a refund of class fees will be made only if a wriyen request accompanied by a veterinarian s cerlficate is received in the show office. Stall fees will not be refunded. There will be a $25 fee for stop payment of a check when withdrawing entries. As a courtesy to other exhibitors and show management, each exhibitor is required to cancel all classes their horse will not be showing in so the gate will not be held. A penalty of $25 per class will be charged to all exhibitors who fail to nolfy management of class cancellalons. INDEMNITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK: All entries are made and accepted with the understanding that Bridlespur will not be responsible for any loss, personal injury, or damage to any horse exhibited or for any arlcle of any kind or nature that may be lost, destroyed or in any way damaged and each parlcipant assumes the risk of any such injury and recognizes that parlcipalon in aclviles involving horses is inherently risky. Each exhibitor will be responsible for any loss, damage or injury to any person, or any animal, or any property occasioned by him, his agents or employees, or by any animal owned or exhibited by him and shall indemnify Bridlespur against any and all loss, liability and damages of any kind or nature thus occasioned, including ayorney fees, which may be incurred as a result thereof. Submission of an entry form to the Show Secretary shall consltute an acceptance of each person signing same of the provisions herein set forth.

5 USEF STATEMENT: Life, senior aclve and junior aclve members shall be eligible to parlcipate in all classes at Regular CompeLLons provided the respeclve breed/discipline dues or breed/discipline category fee has been paid. A nonmember may parlcipate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular CompeLLons upon payment of a $30 nonmember fee. ParLcipants in the following classes are exempted from the requirements of this rule: 1) leadline, 2) exhibilons, 3) academy classes. Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specificalons of the current USEF rule book will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith. MISSOURI STATE HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: An official health cerlficate issued within 30 days of the show by a licensed veterinarian must accompany all horses not residing in the State of Missouri. A negalve Coggins cerlficate issued within the past 12 months must accompany all horses. The health and original Coggins cerlficates must be available for inspeclon at the Lme of check in. Do not mail with your entry. In case of suspected unsoundness or as a safeguard against communicable disease, all horses are subject to physical inspeclon by the show veterinarian. The Bridlespur MHSA Kick-Off Show is held in compliance with all laws and regulalons of the United States and the State of Missouri. All exhibitors are nolfied to comply therewith with special reference to the Horse ProtecLon Act of 1970 as amended STABLING: All horses entered must have a stall and will pay $100 for the show, or $65 per day. NO SHOWING OUT OF TRAILERS. All stalls are permanent 10 x 10 stalls with doors and are under cover. No stall will be reserved without payment. Bedding must be purchased from the NaLonal Equestrian Center. Minimum two bales are required per stall. CAMPERS AND HORSE TRAILERS: Camper hook-ups are available at $30/day. Showers are located within the barns ALL PONIES must present a valid or permanent measurement card issued by the USEF or CEF or be measure prior to numbers being issued where applicable. Photocopies are acceptable. MEASUREMENT ON THURSDAY 9:00 AM, APRIL 13, 2017 ARRIVAL TIME: Horses will be accepted Tuesday April 11. Anyone wishing to arrive earlier will pay $15 per day. Departure shall be no later than 12:00 pm Sunday April 16. ARENAS: The show arenas are 120 x 240 with a mixture of dirt and sand foolng. The adjoining warm up arena is 100 x 200 with a dirt and sand mixture. Exhibitors will be permiyed to work horses in the show arena up to one-half hour prior to the start of a session. Dressage arena will be 20m x 60m. MOTORIZED VEHICLES: Minors who do not have a valid driver s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permiyed to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind including but not limited to golf carts, motorcycles, scooters or farm ullity vehicles on the compellon grounds of licensed compellons. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver s license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operalng a motorized vehicle in violalon of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or aclons resullng from that operalon. ViolaLons of this rule will be cause for sanclons against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child commilng the offense. PenalLes may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) from the compellon grounds for the remainder of the compellon and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabililes are exempt from this rule.

9 NOTICE GR845 Equine VaccinaZon Rule At FederaZon licensed compezzons, horses entering the grounds must be accompanied by documentazon of Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus (RhinopneumoniZs) vaccinazons within six months prior to entering the stables. Horses not in compliance with this rule may be required to leave the compezzon grounds upon request by CompeZZon Management. DocumentaZon should consist of one of the following methods menzoned below. The frequency of vaccine administrazon should be per the vaccine manufacturers or veterinarian s recommendazons. It is recommended that vaccines are administered by or under the direczon of a veterinarian.

A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $30 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR218) and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes.

14 RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. USEF: EVERY CLASS OFFERED HEREIN WHICH IS COVERED BY THE RULES AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE CURRENT U.S. EQUESTRIAN RULE BOOK WILL BE CONDUCTED AND JUDGED IN ACCORDANCE THEREWITH. The management reserves the right to make any changes deemed necessary; to combine, divide, or limit classes as entries warrant; and to refuse any entry without reason. 2. Western Dressage classes are open to riders on horses, mules, and/or ponies of any origin. There is no limit on the number of rides on the same day and horses may be ridden by multiple riders. A non-member, who wishes to participate as a rider, handler, owner, lessee, agent, coach, or trainer at regular USEF competitions, dressage competitions, reining competitions that hold Western Dressage classes, must pay a non-member registration fee for each competition in which competing. Payment of non-member fees for the purpose of competing does not entitle the individual to any privileges of the WDAA membership. 3. Attire: Required apparel includes a suitable western hat, long-sleeved shirt with any type of collar (short sleeves may be worn at the direction of the judge), trousers or pants, boots. Protective headgear is acceptable; not required to be of western style. [See WDAA Western Dressage Rulebook for optional apparel.] 4. Suitability: To be eligible for a Western Dressage Suitability class, a horse must not have shown in a Western Dressage competition/test at First level or above and/or shown in a Western Dressage Hack class. To be judged 70% on Performance of gaits and transitions, with attention to impulsion and submission, and using the objectives above as reference; and 30% on the rider s position, seat, and effective use of aids. 5. Health Papers: Negative COGGINS dated within 1 year of the show must be submitted for all horses at all shows including schooling shows. Submit a copy with your entries. All equines entering Missouri must be accompanied by the following: 1) Negative test for EIA (Negative COGGINS) conducted within 1 year if the animal is more than 1 year of age; 2) Certificate of Veterinary inspection issued by an accredited veterinarian within 30 days of entry with a permit number issued by the Missouri Department of Agriculture on the health papers; 3) Documentation of Equine Flu Vaccination (see below.) administration should be per the vaccine manufacturers or veterinarian s recommendations. It is 6. Numbers: The horse s competition number/rider number must be worn not only while competing, but also while schooling your horse on the grounds. 7. Refunds: Full refund less Office Fee will be made on or before closing date. No entries will be processed unless paid in full. NO REFUNDS AFTER THE CLOSING DATE. 8. Arenas: Classes will be held in the small or standard dressage arena on the outdoor sand/chat surfaces. 9. Bedding & Feed: Additional bedding will be available through the NEC concession stand. There is no feed available on site. 10. Dogs: We love dogs, but they must be kept on a leash. Failure to do so will result in a fine. 11. Stabling: All horses must occupy a stall. Stalls are permanent 10 x 10. Jump Outs or horses tied to trailers are not allowed. WD stabling will be in Barn 7 unless entrant is cross entered in the ASB show. 12. Schedule: The official schedule will be posted in the Main Show office concession area and in the mail barn aisles by 7pm Thursday evening. 13. WD Show Office: Will be in the last aisle of Barn 7 closest to the outdoor arena.
