2 Flatlanders Dressage and Combined Training Association held a meeting on June, 2, 2015, at Arby s in Bluffton. President Dianne Foltz called the meeting to order. Lizzy Beaumont was a guest of Alison Schmidbauer s visiting from England. Alison Schmidbauer made a correction to the May 5, 2015, minutes stating there were only 5, 4 dayers for camp instead of 7. Alison made a motion to accept the minutes with the correction. Elsie Feister seconded. Motion passed. Elsie Feister seconded. Motion passed. OLD BUSINESS Committee Reports: MEMBERSHIP Pat Boutwell Chair I currently have $42 in membership monies to give to Laurie Leyerle. As of date we have received $1,064 in membership monies. AWARDS/BANQUET Gael Bourquin Chair Gael has 2 entries in the Open Division and one in the Fun Show Division so far. Checks have been mailed to Laurie. Pat Boutwell said she would print a few Award Entry forms for Dianne Foltz to have at the next Fun Show. CAMP/CLINICS Mary Lou Paxton & Alison Schmidbauer Co/Chairs June is camp dates. The clinic with Robin Vaughn-Strait was good. Had good feed back from everyone. Jane Kelly is coming to teach camp. Schedules have gone out. Alison will see about Robin Vaughn-Strait coming to do a clinic the week of July 6th.

3 FUN SHOW Dianne Foltz Chair Discussion was held as to when to reschedule Dianne Foltz s Fun Show, as it was postponed due to weather. Carol Wright said she could judge any evening. It was decided to have Diane s show on September 26th. Pat Boutwell s Fun Show will be held on July 18th. Audry Busby will judge this show. Meat, drink and table service will be provided. Bring something (food- ;-) to share. Laurie Leyerle s Fun Show will be held August 15 th Sue King will judge this Fun Show. PROGRAMS Sarah Potts Chair No report. It was decided to have the next meeting at Pat Boutwell s place and Alison Schmidbauer will present us with a program concerning the new tests. NEWSLETTER EDITOR Kelly Mehallow No report. EQUINE JOURNAL/CORRAL REPORTER Laurie Leyerle No report. An article was sent in to the Corral. WEBSITE Anessia Dougal Awards information is up on our website. Elsie Feister made a motion to adjourn. Champion for Intro, Training, First, Second & above levels with a minimum of 5 entries in each level. Overall Western championship to be awarded with a minimum of 5 Western entries. Master (riders 50+ years), Open (riders years) and Junior/Young Rider (21 years & younger) awards. Scores can only be used for one high point award. Under saddle classes only to count towards Championship. A horse/rider combination may not show the same test twice. Can enter either walk/trot or walk/trot/canter with the same horse. All classes to be run in standard 6 0m x 20m arena. Classes will be split if necessary. Food vendor will be open for breakfast/lunch/snacks. Test of Choice must be specified on entry form. Dogs are not allowed on grounds. No refunds after closing date. Post entries allowed if time permits at 50% additional fee no refunds. HORSES: Horses may arrive Friday after 5:00pm. All horses must be stabled; no showing out of trailer. STALLS: Friday/Saturday stall fee is $ Tack stalls are provided at no charge. Bring your own bedding. Shavings only to be used for bedding. If you join GLDC Aug-Dec, your membership will include the year of 2016 and you will save $10.00 for today s show.
