Show Management will determine its eligibility. Incomplete Entries will not be accepted. Horses to be shown in hand and to move at the judges discretion. Sponsorship of an IBC class is $200 and entitles sponsor to a complimentary half page ad in the show program. 31 Oldenburg Verband. Entry Fee for Group Class: $25 per horse / No prize money Classes to be shown in hand and to move at the judges direction. To be judged and scored as Dressage Sport Horse Breeding Classes. Entries may be of any sex and multiple ownership is permitted. 61 Get of Sire. Sire not required to be present. At least two horse of the same sire. Any sex or age. Each Get must complete an Entry Form and list on it: (1) Sire s name and breed; (2) Sire s owner. If Sire s owner different from that of Get, written permission from Sire s owner must be included with entry. 62 Breeders Group. At least two horses bred by the same Breeder. Any sex or age. Each horse must complete an Entry Form and indicate Breeder. If Breeder is different than current owner of entry, include written permission from Breeder. HANDLER CLASSES Entry Fee for Handler Class: $45 / No prize money Open to mares, geldings, and weanling colts or fillies; no stallions or unweaned foals. Handler to be judged on presentation of the animal in hand at the walk and trot on the triangle and stand for conformation judging. The class is to be judged on presentation of animal to be judged, neatness and appearance of handler, overall condition of animal, handling techniques, appropriate tack and equipment, demonstration of correct training and ability to show horse to best of its ability. Conformation of the horse is 10%. Both classes will be judged using current USDF Amateur Handler score sheet. 63A Amateur Handler. Handler must be (1) current USEF member with Amateur status indicated on USEF card or (2) Junior / Young Rider, no specific membership required. 63B Open Handler SPORT PONY Entry Fee for each Sport Pony Class: $45 / No prize money Current Pony Card or Ponies will be measured before class. 65 Sport Pony in Hand. Open to ponies of any age or breeding. To be shown in hand on the triangle and move at the discretion of the judges. See USEF DR135 for size requirement. Class will be divided: fillies / mares and colts / geldings. 66 Sport Pony Under Saddle. Open to any pony (see USEF DR135 for official size requirement). Judged on pony s performance potential for dressage competition. CLASSES WILL BE HELD ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON IN TWO SAND ARENAS OPEN UNDER SADDLE CLASSES Entry Fee for Open Under Saddle Class: $45 / No prize money Open to horses six years and under that have not competed above First Level. Entries are not required to show in any in-hand, group or under saddle class. To be shown at walk, trot, and canter both ways of ring. Judged on horse s potential to become a dressage mount. Horses are placed with no actual scores awarded. See USEF DR Suitable to Become a Dressage Horse. USDF MATERIALE CLASSES Entry Fee for Materiale Class: $45 / No prize money Materiale Classes will be run according to USEF Dressage Division Rules (USEF DR 134 and DR 204.2e). Dress must conform to USEF DR 120. Entries are not required to show in any in-hand, group or under saddle class. Class will be judged by the USDF Materiale Score Sheet and run according to the USDF Procedures to Host USDF Materiale Classes which is posted on the USDF website: Classes for fillies and mares will not be combined with classes for colts, geldings or stallions. Four and five year old horses may be asked to lengthen stride at trot and canter. Class 81 for Fillies and class 83 Mares may be combined, with only mares asked to lengthen stride. Class 82 for three year old colts/geldings may be combined with class 84 for four and five year old stallions/geldings, with only four and five year old horses asked to lengthen. Judged: 90% on movement (30% walk, 30% trot, 30% canter) and 10% on General Impression. Riders may ride one horse only in each class. All horses entered in any materiale class held at a USEF/USDF recognized Dressage Sport Horse Breeding (DSHB) or dressage competition must have either a USDF Lifetime Horse Registration (LHR) or USDF Horse Identification Number (HID), and submit identification information. Owner is not required to be a USDF member for a horse to compete in materiale classes or earn USDF Breeders Series materiale championship qualification scores at USEF/USDF recognized DSHB or dressage competitions. Rider is required to have a current USDF PM at the time a horse s qualifying score is earned and at the time of the USDF Breeders Series Final Materiale Championship class. See NEDA website / Competititons / Fall Festival Breed Show for link to detailed instructions. 81. Three year old Fillies ** 82. Three year old Colts and Geldings ** 83. Four and five year old Mares 84. Four and five year old Stallions and Geldings ** Eligible for Three Year Old Prospect Award. Must also enter appropriate Age Class. Classes will start at 8:00 AM and be held in numerical sequence. Classes will be held at the end of the day Friday. The Materiale Classes will be held directly after lunch on Friday; therefore they can be used as qualifiers for the Materiale Championships. USDF BREEDERS CHAMPIONSHIP 2017 NEW ENGLAND SERIES FINALS Entry Fee for each Championship Class: $65 / No Prize Money. Horses entering these classes must have won Champion or Reserve Champion (note if Champion / Reserve are already qualified third place eligible to compete in Finals) at one of the designated Qualifying Shows in the New England Series. Horses receiving 77% or better in a qualifying class are automatically qualified for these championships, per USDF Breeders Championships Series Program rules B.12. Horses from a Series not hosting a Final may enter without re-qualifying in the New England Series. All horses must have USDF Lifetime Horse Registration and owner(s) must be current USDF Participating or Business member. For the Materiale Championship Final (classes 96 / 97) the rider must have a current USDF Participating Membership (PM) at the time the horse s qualifying score is earned and at the time of the finals class.at least two judges (one of whom is a licensed USEF R DSHB judge) will officiate in each Series Final class. Each judge will evaluate each entry independently. Scribes will be provided for each judge. Winners will be determined by the average of all judges scores. The highest scoring horses will be declared champions and the second highest reserve champions. Horses will be shown individually on the triangle at the walk and trot, and standing for conformation. Each horse will be evaluated in the same manner. Callbacks are permitted. 91. USDF Breeders Championships New England Current Year Foal Final 92. USDF Breeders Championships New England Materiale Four / Five Year Old Final BREED SHOW SPECIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS Classes / Entries Classes will be held Thursday and Friday, as much as possible in class order. Competition will be run under and competitors must be familiar with USEF Dressage / Sport Horse Breeding rules in the USEF Rule Book, specifically DR201 Dr211. Entries must conform to competition General Specifications which contain important Entry Specifications, Post Entries, Wait List policies, Stabling, Breed Registration. Horse s birthday is age as of 1/1 of the year of this show. USEF / USDF Requirements Handlers... USEF... Required: (1) USEF Membership or (2) USEF Non Member Fee. USDF... Neither USDF membership nor Non Member fee required. Non-Member Identification Number NM is not required. Indicate Handler, if known, or the Owner/Lessee as Rider / Handler on the Entry Form. Handlers who handle any horse for which they are not so indicated on its Entry Form must sign an Entry Form at Headquarters and obtain / wear a blue wristband prior to entering the ring The $20 Post Entry Fee and $100 Last Ditch Fee will not apply to change of Handler after Closing Date and at show time so long as the Handler has fulfilled these requirements. Riders... USEF... Required: (1) USEF Membership or (2) USEF Non Member Fee USDF... Required: (1) USDF Membership or (2) USDF Non Member Number and Fee Applies only to under saddle Pony class 66, Suitability class 71 and Materiale classes 81 / 82 / 83 / 84. 5 NEDA Fall Festival 2017 Official Prize List 4/26//2017 / Open Breed Show / Breeders Championships / Page 34 Entry Handler / Rider Considerations Show Management must have a complete and signed Entry Form for each Horse / Rider combination in the under saddle classes: 66 Ponies, 71Suitability, and 81 / 82 / 83 / 84 Materiale. Plan persons listed on Entry carefully. If Horse is entered in one of these classes list as Rider / Handler the person riding the horse and complete Entry. Then, if a different person handles the Horse in an unmounted Breed Show class, have that person sign Entry Form as Handler form in Headquarters; this is exempt from penalty fees. However, change of Rider requiring addition of a new Rider / Horse combination and issuance of a new Bridle Number after Closing Date will be subject to Post Entry fee until the Last Ditch Date and the $100 Last Ditch Fee. Entry Acceptance Policies. Because ride times are scheduled in the same way as the Dressage Show, Secretary shall accept entries on a first come basis and may close classes as necessary due to ring time constraints, starting a Wait List for closed class(es). See General Specifications for further details. Broodmares Accompanying Foal Each Broodmare accompanying a foal entered in the Breed Show shall fill out her own Entry Form. Pay Office Fee with Entry. Broodmares are exempt from Drug Fee, non membership fees, and Non Compete Fee so long as she does not further perform in either Breed Show or Dressage Show. Broodmare will be assigned a Bridle Number to be worn at all times. Broodmares must comply with Rules of this Prize List; they may be drug tested. USDF Breeders Championships Series Finals Classes Late entries are allowed for Championship Finals class(es) 91 / 92 / 93 / 94 / 95 / 96 / 97 without penalty. However, Late and Last Ditch fees apply for late entry to Qualifying class at Fall Festival. Horses may finish qualification for the finals at Fall Festival. For finals classes Owner must be USDF Participating Member (include number) or Business Member (be sure correct Business Name is listed as Owner). Horse must have USDF Lifetime Horse Registration (include number). Show management shall collect, if necessary, sufficient Owner membership and / or USDF Lifetime Horse registration applications and fees prior to Championships Finals class. Verify USDF Breeders Championships Qualification Status with USDF Verify qualification status with USDF before submitting entry. Be sure that your qualifying scores have been accurately reported to and recorded by USDF. Check the USDF website Score Check. If necessary call the USDF office directly. Refunds Refund policies will be followed per General Specifications. No refund if competitor misses class or is eliminated for delays in Order of Go policy below. Wristbands All Handlers must wear blue wristband in Warm Up and Competition Arenas. All Assistant Handlers must wear yellow wristband in Warm Up and Competition Arenas. Wristbands indicate complete entry paperwork. Order of Go Ride times will be assigned and will become the posted order of go for each class Time for Handler conflicts will be allowed for in this order of go. Handlers must inform the warm up steward of impending conflicts. Horses must check in with warm up steward before their time slot. Horses that have not checked in with the warm up steward prior to their posted order of go will be given a three minute call. Horses not ready to show at the end of this three minute call will be eliminated. Handlers who have multiple horses in both rings are requested to tell the warm up steward when they leave one ring to go to the other. Horses not complying with these stipulations may be eliminated, at discretion of Show Management. Turnout Bridles are optional on yearlings or younger, but mandatory on horses two years old and older. Braiding is optional. Foals must be in control of handler and may not be shown loose. Breed Registration Full breed registration documentation must be presented with entry. See General Specifications for details, which apply to IBC classes, Breed Futurity, and all breed specific Special Awards. Triangle Procedure Classes so designated will perform individually on the triangle as described in the USEF Rulebook DR209. The triangle measures approximately 30 meters on each side, and 15 meters from B-C. When called by the Ringmaster, present your horse to the Judge at A. Upon direction, follow the procedure as diagramed: Stand horse at A for conformation judging Walk small triangle: A - B - C - A Trot large triangle A - D - E - A Leave judging area promptly unless requested otherwise by judges

6 NEDA Fall Festival 2017 Official Prize List 4/26//2017 / Open Breed Show / Breeders Championships / Page 35 Awards The following special awards will be given only for Breeding Division and Sport Horse Prospects Classes, specifically classes 1 / 2 / 4 / 5, 8 / 9, 10 / 11 / 13, 15 / 16 / 17. (1) NEDA Sporthorse Medal for first place will be given, so long as the winning percentage is 72% or better; (2) Born in America award, so long as its percentage is 72% or better, to highest placing USA or Canadian born horse; only horses specifically indicating USA or Canada in Horse Country Birth box on Entry Form will be considered. Cash awards: $150 to Owner; $50 to Breeder. Show Management reserves right to disqualify horse if necessary. (3) In order for horse to be eligible for any Breed Specific awards, Breed documentation must accompany Entry. Eligibility lists for Born in America and all Breed Specific awards will be closed seven days after Closing Date and no further horses will be added to eligibility lists after that point. Winners will be determined as show proceeds Thursday and announced / awarded in the afternoon. New England Dressage Association Breed Sweepstakes $2,100 NEDA Fall Festival Purse Enter New England Breeders Series Qualifying Show(s). Enter into the NEDA Breed Sweepstakes by paying $50 Breed Sweepstakes Fee (per horse) at one (or more) qualifying New England Series Breed Show that is held prior to NEDA Fall Festival.. Sweepstakes horses are then (1) eligible to participate in Breed Sweepstakes cash awards at that qualifying show and (2) eligible to participate in Breed Sweepstakes Thursday afternoon at NEDA Fall Festival at no additional charge. At each qualifying show, Sweepstakes Fees received are pooled and then awarded as Prize Monies to the top 6 Sweepstakes horses at that show, based on percentage received in their primary in hand age group class (foal, yearlings, 2 year olds, 3 year olds, mare, stallions). Ties will be broken in favor of the older horse.. Minimum award for 1st place $ depending upon entries and class sponsors. Entries and Sweepstakes Fees must be received by the show Secretary by Closing Date. No exceptions. Only horses that compete at the qualifying show are eligible for Sweepstakes awards at that show. If there are less than 6 entries, only the number of entries paying Sweepstakes Fees will be awarded. Enter NEDA Fall Festival Each horse that has paid a $50 Sweepstakes Fee at a qualifying New England Series Breed Show, prior to Fall Festival, is automatically eligible for the NEDA Fall Breed Show Sweepstakes cash awards. Each Sweepstakes horse must (1) enter NEDA Fall Festival Breed Show no later than one week following Closing Date, (2) must pay standard show entry fees, and (3) must compete in its appropriate primary in hand age group class (1 / 2 / 4 / 5 / 8 / 9 / 11 / 12 / 13 / 15 / 16 / 17).. Indicate Breed Sweepstakes eligibility on horse s Entry Form, with note at which qualifying show(s) Sweepstakes Fee was paid. From those Sweepstakes horses that compete at NEDA Fall Festival NEDA will provide cash award s, based upon percentage received; ties will be broken in favor of the older horse. Three Year Old Prospect Award (New in 2014) Three year old horses entered in BOTH the open in hand class (either class 11 or 15) and the Materiale class (either class 81 or 82) are eligible for this award. For the entire group (fillies and colts/geldings) the final scores from both classes will be added. Ties will be broken upon Movement score in the Materiale class (then In Hand class only if still tied), per USEF policy. If still tied, Judge(s) will break tie naming Champion and Reserve. Ribbons and cash ($200 to Champion / $100 Reserve) will be awarded. Cash will be sent to Owner on Entry unless Show Management is notified otherwise. See this prize list General Specifications for details. Breed Show Stabling 48 stalls will be available in front Barn 6 for Breed Show competitors. First come first served. No stall will be assigned without complete and paid entry form. Once Barn 6 is filled, competitors will be assigned stabling in the other Front Barns or Back Barns, depending on Entry Date (date entry is received). Late entries will probably be assigned in the Back Barns.. as the Front Barns can only accommodate two thirds of the expected Fall Festival entry. An area just over the bridge, but still near the Breed Show competition arena will be available for drive in competitors.
