3 Featuring... The Dispersal of the Fullblood Herd Dear Limousin Friends For more years than I care to remember, 37 to be exact, I have owned Limousin cattle. I purchased a Limousin bull to service my herd of commercial cows in My herd grew over the years as I retained my Limousin-influenced heifers. At the same time I purchased the best fullblood females from across the country, and I have mated them with the most highly proven sires in the industry. Upon my retirement in 1986, I have been pursueing a TOTAL A.I. FULLBLOOD HERD. With the exception of two purchased females, every female in this dispersal has been bred artificially by me. No female has been serviced by a bull. I have loved every minute in the Limousin business; I have enjoyed my membership and involvement in NALF, Fullblood Alliance, and the Arkansas, Mississippi, and Louisiana Breeders Associations. I ve also met some of the nicest people in the world along the way. I now find it impossible to care for my cattle as I once did; I tire quickly and am unable to keep up the pace. For this reason I am dispersing my entire herd through this sale. I have asked some of my good friends to contribute some great purebred cattle. Ed Pinegar, Ty Heavin, Gary O"Neal and George Fisher have parted with some great cattle to offer purebreds and Lim-Flex for a real bang-up offering.
