Gentle enough to lead the little ones around on and big enough and broke enough for the big kids to go use him outside. She is gentle for about any level of rider. Our young boys have used her checking calves and she has also been used to rope off of in the pasture, and as a trail/family horse. Southern Colorado Livestock Auction, INC. and its associates act as agent only on all sales, and are not responsible for buyer/seller error or misunderstanding. All Guarantees are strictly between the buyer and seller. All horses are sold AS IS without any other expressed or implied warranties. 2. Consignment forms must be accompanied by original registration papers and a signed transfer OR entry fee and a photocopy of the registration papers. 3. Individual NEGATIVE COGGINS TEST (original not faxes or copies) current within 12 months must be provided day of sale. $35.00 charge if drawn at sale. Brand Certificates required from brand states 4. Foal must be kept in the same pen as the mare or will be charged separate fees. 5. Mares selling in foal must have a completed and signed breeder s certificate OR a letter of guarantee from the stallion owner stating the breeder s certificate will be issued at time of foaling. Or buyers must be informed that the foal will be GRADE. 6. Any defects or bad habits must be called when horse is presented in sale s ring. (Example: Cryptoids, Cribbers, Lameness or Unsoundness, Parrot Mouth, HYPP N/H or H/H, etc.). 7. Consignors will be paid within 10 banking days from day of sale. 8. CATALOG FEE Regular consignment $100. Commission is 8% of the selling price. No Sales or Pass Outs must be stated before the horse leaves the sale s ring. 9. The Catalog Fee is non-refundable. Consignor agrees not to withdraw entry except for serious injury, sickness or death, and will furnish sales company with a veterinary statement prior to day of sale. 10. Upon execution of this contract, Consignor agrees not to sell the horse by private sale. All horses must go through the sale s ring. NO horses are to be sold prior to going to the sale s ring. (NO trading out back). ANY HORSES SOLD OUTSIDE THE RING WILL BE ASSESSED AN 8% COMMISSION CHARGE. 11. A $7.00 halter charge may be deducted for every horse sold. A new halter might be given to the buyer when payment is made. 12. Only horses that are consigned to the sale will be allowed on the sale grounds. All other horses sold before, during, and after sale will be charged 8% commission and a catalog fee. 13. All horses are subject to a selection process. 14. Data Provided in this catalog is generally correct, but occasionally errors occur due to incorrect data received, processing mistakes and other causes. We disclaim liability for such errors, but appreciate their being called to our attention. 15. Title passes to buyer at fall of the hammer, or upon final bid and buyers number presentation. All risk of injury to the horse becomes buyers risk at passing of title. Buyer agrees to release, defend, indemnify, and hold owners, managers, and employees harmless from all losses, expenses, and claims related to the possession, care, custody, control or maintenance after the fall of the hammer of any horse on which he or she is the successful bidder, whether resulting in whole or in part from their own negligence including but not limited to any claims arising out of injuries or damage caused by the horse after the fall of the hammer. The horse will be held for the buyer until buyer makes settlement as provided. Buyer shall immediately present himself to make settlement if requested, but in any other case shall present himself within thirty (30) minutes of conclusion of the sale. 16. Any Claimed defect, injuries, or bad habits will be inspected by SCLA Vet or authorized vet, or SCLA management before any monies are transferred. 17. Feed & Yardage is $10.00/Horse/Day, 18. My grandkids have taken him to all the play days and done everything on him. Gentle! Lot # 63 Ranger 2008 Bay & White Pony Gelding Ranger is a very fancy 10 year old bay and white pony gelding. He stands about 12 hands and is extremely well trained. Broke like a big horse, he is excellent on the trails, he will cross any terrain you point him at, has been used to move cattle, and is gentle enough for the whole family. Our young boys have used him this spring checking cow/calf pairs. Good honest gelding pony gentle for a kid that is ready to ride with the family. Lot # 6 Champ 2008 Palomino Gelding Consignor: Debbie Lagan 10 year old palomino gelding that is as handy as a pocket on a shirt. He s a really nice ranch horse. He pasture ropes, doctor calves or drag one to the fire. Champ is as cowey as they come. He is great riding in the mountains, crossing water or to shoe, groom, spray bath and above all he is a handy size. Champ loves people and has a lot of trust, good natured and gentle.

He needs an experienced rider but has a lot to offer. Lot # 59 & 59A 2009 & 2008 Mules Tom & Lucy Tom & Lucy are a 9 and 10 year old perfectly matched pair of mules. Full brother and sister, they stand about They ride and drive excellent. Both used under saddle checking and moving cattle. They are excellent in the harness and are traffic safe, will cross RR tracks, have been driven on 2 week long wagon rides, and driven with grandkids. They have also been used on a binder and steel wheeled wagons. Easy to handle, excellent manners, and a perfectly matched and fancy team of mules. She has gathered cows and is a small horse with a big heart that will do anything you ask! Lot # 12 Waylon 2007 Dun Gelding Consignor: Helen Horn Waylon is an 11 year old, 15.2 hand dun gelding, Good looking, stout built ranch type horse. Easy for anyone to ride: low-headed with a one-hand neck rein, comes off a leg, can open/close gates on him and has a smooth trot you can sit all day long. We ve used him to push cows on the ranch. Before we bought him he was an outfitter horse, he s had hundreds of miles on the maintain, and has packed elk and rifles. He can be snorty on the ground. UTD on vaccinations and just had his teeth floated. Bought him for an extra ranch horse, but turns out we don t need him, so he is for sale.

He is an outstanding horse and crosses water, rough country and all kinds of obstacles with ease. He s big enough to make a nice head horse and would also make a nice trail horse. He will watch you on the ground and is not for an inexperienced rider. He, being a winner, could go back to the track. He won in a $6500 claiming but ran up to $10,000 claiming price. Riva started 8 times and may run a lot better now that he is older. He is great in the starting gate. Chip Woolley trained Riva and really liked him. Riva could be a tough barrel horse. Several of his family line are successful barrel horses. All we have done with him is gather cattle. He is easy to shoe.

Lot # 48 Dunbar 2012 Dun Gelding Dunbar is a 6 year old 13.3 hand dun gelding that is a handy as a pocket on a shirt. Dunbar has no buck or bolt but is a little too quick for an itty bitty kid. He will work a long side dad s horse all day. Dunbar also has the potential to make a good playday pony. He would also be a good horse for an older person who wants something easy to get on and off of.

My niece has used her for play day events and the 3 year old granddaughter has ridden her around the place. This mare is gentle for anybody.
