During this convention, members proved that unity within their industry is indeed possible. However, the game industry consists of the game ranching as well as the hunting industry one depends on the other in order to exist. Role players such as Wildlife Ranching SA (WRSA), Phasa, Confederation of Hunters Associations of South Africa (Chasa), South African Hunters and Game Conservation Association (SAHGCA), South African Predator Association (Sapa), Wildlife Producers Association (WPA) and other role players in the industry will have to sit together and decide what is good for the industry, and d not just what is good for themselves. Everybody has the right to utilise his game and during Cites Cop17 we saw that the wrong decisions by role players without the necessary insight can have a major impact on the entire game industry. Read more on p 84 about the decisions made at the Phasa convention. The legendary hunter Eric Rundgren, also known as the Maharajah of Mayhem and the Prince of Disorder, had a very short temper. According to the author of the article, Chris van der Watt, Rundgren had shot more dangerous game than any other hunter. brave hunters.
