1 ANNUAL AWARDS The Weimaraner Club of Scotland currently has FIVE awards, which are presented each year at the Club AGM 1) The Aruac Quaich for the Scottish Weimaraner of the Year; 2) The Gredington Trophy for the Best Show Weimaraner; 3) The Shadow Memorial Plate for the Weimaraner bringing most credit to the Breed; 4) The Silver Shadow Scroll for the Best Obedience Weimaraner 5) The Wilson Trophy for the Best Working Trials Weimaraner. The Points Systems/criteria for each of these is set out below. Click on the name of the trophy to bring up the points system/criteria for that award. To be eligible for any of these awards owners must be members and must be resident in Scotland. All trials/tests/shows from the 1st January to 31st December, inclusive, count towards the awards in any one-year. Points claims must show the date and name of the trial/test/show, the class and the number of points claimed. The awards for each year will be presented at the Annual General Meeting in the following year. Therefore you are invited to lodge your entries for the year, which must be in the hands of the Club Secretary by the NOTIFIED DATE in the year following that for which entry is being made. Back to top THE SHADOW MEMORIAL PLATE FOR THE WEIMARANER BRINGING MOST CREDIT TO THE BREED There are no points to be calculated for this trophy. It is simply a matter of putting your nomination in writing to the Committee giving as fully as possible, the reasons why you think your nominated dog has brought 'credit to the breed'. The Committee will then make the decision.

6 The nominated dog will not necessarily be a Show/Working/Obedience dog it only needs to have done something to bring credit to the breed - this can be anything from hospital visits to the protection of life or property - indeed the list is endless. You may nominate your own dog or somebody else's dog - the only stipulation is that the owner of the dog must be a member of the Club and resident in Scotland.
