2 SECTION B STUD CATTLE RULES FOR STOCK FROM QUEENSLAND CATTLE TICK INFECTED, CONTROL AND FREE ZONES MUST BE ADHERED TO NLIS ALL CATTLE MUST BE EAR TAGGED WITH NLIS DEVICES The Taroom Showgrounds is classified as a CATTLE TICK FREE ZONE. For spraying, dipping & inspection bookings, please phone D & L Stuart to make arrangements. Minimum of 48 hours notice required. Ph or M STOCK MOVEMENT TO SHOWGROUNDS From Infected Zone All inspections & treatments to be carried out at the Taroom Clearing Dip Yards. Led Cattle: Returning to the infected area within 72 hours of clean inspection:- Permit from DAFF office of origin, Waybill/NVD Waybill & Inspection & Treatment Certificate. Other Cattle: Pre-treatment/s & Preliminary Treatment Declaration will be required on presentation of the cattle at the dip yard. Inspection & plunge dipping. Waybill/NVD Waybill Inspection & Treatment Certificate. From Control Zone At Risk (High) Property Led Cattle: Returning to their property of origin within 72 hours of clean inspection:- Permit from DAFF office of origin, Waybill/NVD Waybill & Inspection &Treatment Certificate. Other Cattle: Inspection & plunge dipping. Waybill/NVD Waybill & Inspection & Treatment Certificate. At Risk (Low) Property Led Cattle and other Cattle: All cattle to be inspected on property of origin, prior to entry into Taroom Showgrounds. DAFF permit & waybill/nvd Waybill required. Entry Fee: Junior Bull Challenge $20 per head. Entry Fee: Super Bull Challenge $20 per head. To be eligible for nomination in the Junior Bull &/or Super Bull Challenges: * Entries must be nominated & compete in respective breed judging classes All stud cattle nominations: * Entries must be nominated in owner's name * All particulars must be noted on the Entry Form * All stud stock must be on the grounds by 8am Monday 1 st May, 2017 & must remain until after the Grand Parade on Tuesday 2 nd May, 2017 * All Cattle entered into this section must be led & must have either a nose ring/nose grip. No beast will be allowed in the Judging Ring/Grand Parade without them. * Taroom Showgrounds are declared Brucellosis free. Young Paraders Encouragement Award Class to 25 years Class years & Under Young Judges: A Young Judges Competition for any person under 25 years on May 1st, Prior nomination with the Steward.
