3 STUDENT PARADERS COMPETITION The Student Paraders Competition will be held in the Cattle Judging Ring on Friday 21 September 2018 at 12.00pm. 1. Student Paraders must be enrolled in secondary education. 2. Entry forms must include the name, date of birth and gender of the parader who will parade the exhibit. 3. After entries close, paraders will be placed in one of six (6) divisions based on the parader s date of birth. 4. There are six (6) divisions with a maximum of 15 entries each, totalling 90 paraders. 5. Participants can only parade one (1) animal, which must be under 20 months of age. 6. All animals must have nose rings and be led. 7. The Champion parader of this competition is eligible to enter the Beef Cattle Paraders Championship State Final, providing he or she meets the selection criteria. 8. There will be six (6) divisions with prize money for the first four (4) places being awarded to the parader. Prizes are: 1st $70.00, 2nd $60.00, 3rd $40.00 and 4th $ Ribbons will be awarded to all 1st, 2nd and 3rd placegetters in all divisions of the Paraders Competition. 10. 9 FARM SKILLS COMPETITION CONDITIONS OF ENTRY 1. We hereby apply to enter the foregoing competitions in accordance with the terms and upon the conditions of entry as detailed in the 2018 Agricultural Colleges and Schools Competitions schedule, which we have read and by which we agree to be bound in all respects. 2. This application for entry and the regulations shall constitute the whole agreement upon which entries are submitted and we agree that all representatives and statements not appearing herein or in the regulations so far as permitted by law are hereby excluded. 10 FOR YOUR INFORMATION All colleges and schools are requested to bring: Event 2 One (1) wool pack per team. Bale fasteners and bale hooks. Event 4 GPS unit. Please note: Mobile phones will not be permitted. If one cannot be gained, please inform the Competition and Event Coordinator as soon as possible. Event 5 One (1) drench gun and container. Event 10 and 11 Each competitor to supply their own overalls. Event 15 Handpiece, comb, cutter, screwdriver, oil bottle and wool pack. Please ensure equipment is not too sharp.
