It s clear that winter has all but finally arrived. It started out on the cold side but has been mild the last few days. It s great to see the cold weather has not kept the club members from getting together at Wendy s and other places talking cars. Our new members are also beginning to run with the rest of us and I appreciate them doing so. Listed below is a list of the meat and vegetable options...please contact me Frances Mays at or me at donfranmays@juno.com with which 2 meats and which 3 vegetables you would like and the 2 meats and 3 vegetables with the highest number will be the choice I will be giving them. I will need to have all option in by Nov 20 th Bring a dessert to share at the Christmas Party. Meet : Schnitzel, Turkey, Ham, Chicken (Fried, Baked, or Broil), Pork Lion, Roast Beef Vegetables: Oven Roasted Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, Corn, Peas, Carrots, Macaroni and Cheese, German Cole Slaw, Red Cabbage, German Potatoe Salad You are encouraged to attend the annual Club Christmas party. It would be great to see some of the members listed on the roster at the party. We have a great time kicking tires and enjoying the company of others, plus the meal is always fantastic. The club picks up 95% of the cost of the meal, leaving the members with a cost of only $5.00. You will spend more than this at a local fast food restaurant. Hope to see some new faces this year. 2

3 Upcoming Local Car Shows December 5th: Pleasant View, TN - hosts its Annual Christmas Parade. Line-up behind the 24 Church building at 9:00am, the parade kicks off at 10:00am sharp! Candy for the kids is welcome. December 12th: South Pittsburg, TN - 5th annual Christmas for Kids 5K / Walk & Open Car - Truck Show. Registration 8am - Noon, Judging 12:15pm; Awards at 3:00pm. Entry Fee $ TOP 50 Awards + 11 Specialty Awards. $500 cash giveaway (10 = $50.00) 25 Vendors scheduled to attend. Door Prizes, Gift cards, food, 50/50 drawing, Silent Auction and Oldies Music. The show utilizes over 220,000 square feet of exhibition space to put on one of the best and most beautiful custom auto shows in the country. We have music, food and lots of cars. 2nd Sunday: Clarksville, TN - Last Century Hot Rodz & Haulers will host a Cruise In at O'Charley's, 674 Riverside Drive, Clarksville, TN. Dates are: April 10th - May 8th - June 12th - July 10th - August 14th - September 11th - October 9th and November 13th. Times: 4pm - til?? 50/50 drawing & Door Prizes. People's Choice Awards in May & October. Remember Steven as he recovers from this 15 hour surgery. Tink & Regina Leighton: They need everyone's prayers for Tink & Tina Leighton. Maxine Felts...the most recent report is she is finally on the mend. She is looking forward to going home and getting back to her normal routine. Rawley Radcliff: Frances...said...it appeared he has had series of mini-strokes...partial paralysis of throat, etc...coupled with dimentia...will be on "bland" foods only...prognosis...not SURE...days or could be months...hospice had been called in. And there are many members with unspoken need for prayers... Please remember everyone in the Armed Services and pray they remain out of harm's way. Pray for this NATION and its Leaders. 6 - Cruise Night For those of you who attend the monthly meeting, you know that our monthly Cruise Night site at Kmart / Wendy's has come to an END!!! Kmart has allowed the semi-trucks to continue to park on their parking lot which has hampered our cruise in spaces considerably. Thus far, they are not supporting our requests for the trucks to be denied parking. There is an active committee seeking other parking lots in the area, but so far, they haven't been able to secure a site for our 2016 cruise-in. A new committee will be formed under the guidance of our 2016 Board of Directors to actively seek out a new site. If you have any connections with a property owner in Clarksville, you are encouraged to be part of the new committee. Specifications of a new site include: nearby food establishments, restrooms and parking spaces up to 150 spots. However, there is a possibility that we could attract a food vendor to support us, if all other specs were met. Everyone's help is needed on this matter, if we are to host a Cruise Night in If you have any ideas, please contact one of the new Board Members ASAP. 6
