The event is open to the athletes aged 18 and over and belonging to National Teams fully complying with the provisions of CMAS Regulations. 2. National Teams may be made up of a minimum of one to a maximum of six athletes for each men s competition and a minimum of one to a maximum of six athletes for each women s competition. 3. National Teams will have to bring with them three flags of their countries, 2x1m in size and a CD containing their national anthem and they should deliver those at the registration. 4. Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF), CMAS, the Competition Director, Competition Officers and the Technical Delegates are not responsible for accidents or damage caused to people and personal effects before, during or after the competition. The organizer ensures the presence of medical assistance. 5. The rules of competitions applied will be: Constant Weight Free Diving Rules_CA-201 & FIM Free Diving Rules_CA All participating athletes shall accept and follow the international rules of WADA. 7. Athletes must be in possession of: the original entry form signed by the Federation President; a valid CMAS Free Diving sports licence; an ID document. 4 The Draft Program of the event is as follows: The opening ceremony will take place on Monday 01 October 2018 at 7 p.m., in Main Square, Kaş Downtown. The closing ceremony will take place on Saturday 06 October 2018 straight after the Prize-giving ceremony for the FIM World Championship at the Main Square, Kaş Downtown. Common per-competition training will be planned from September 20th until September 30th at 07:00-09:30 AM (one session a day), c. As an instructor, you can bring your students from any part of the world and give courses. The CMAS-TSSF Academy, the first training center for free diving, diving and other underwater sports, has been inaugurated on March 25 in the town of Kas (Turkey). With the CMAS-TSSF "Kas Baska" Training Center, the World Underwater Federation (CMAS) will count on a solid base to continue to pursue the inclusion into the Olympic program with freediving. The word "baska" in Turkish means "different", in reference to the uniqueness and peculiarity of the town of Kas. A place and a solution identified by the CMAS and the President Anna Arzhanova to meets the dictates of Olympic Agenda 2020 in relation to the protection and respect of the environment. Attending the inauguration cerimony the President of Turkish Underwater sport federation Sahin Ozen, Governor Bilgihan Bayar and Halil Kocaer, Major of Kas. The Olympic Agenda 2020 from 2014 has brought a revolution in the previous organization and selection process of the Olympics and through 40 detailed recommendations is meant to offer a clear picture of what the future of the Olympic movement will look like, a clear vision of how to protect the uniqueness of the Games and strenghten Olympic values in society. And it also turns the old concept of the sports hosted in the Olympic program, turning them into sporting events: a concept that fully meets the characteristics of apnea, which in the words of CMAS President Anna Arzhanova is an environmentally friendly and sustainable sport, a challenge to the sea without technological supports but safely, very spectacular, with a huge following around the world, which everyone can try".since the first recommendation of Agenda 2020 the theme of the environment occupies an important place, so that the cities who want to host the Games must necessarily include an important chapter: and a sport like freediving would bring the city to deal with the conditions of its water. A theme of course strongly felt in CMAS. The CMAS Academy in Kas will host workshops with experts from all over the world in freedivıng, scuba and scientific diving, with all necessary facilities: meeting room, presentation and education materials, social areas, showers, cafeteria, camping possibilities. And special discounts will be provided from Government of the City and Region for CMAS divers and athletes. CMAS International Free Diving Judge Course will be starting from 01 to 07 October The course will have both Theoretical and Practical parts. The theory session will cover the details of the rules and procedures of related CMAS Apnea Competitions. The practical part will be done in the CMAS Apnea Outdoor World Championship. The successful participants will be accepted as Main Judge assistants in the competitions. The conditions of the course as written on the CMAS web page ( / php?commission=apnea) are as follows: An International Judge s Certificate will be awarded: 1. The course will be Int. Judge Course. 2. Even the candidates get the same course on the theoretical part, the candidates of each part will be responsible from their part e.g. Candidate for ICS will be responsible for all items of theory and practical but candidate for JAC will be responsible for only his/her task. 3. The course is organized under the authorization of CMAS (and CMAS Free Diving Commission). 4. The instructor is a CMAS International Judge appointed by CMAS for the course. 5. The course outline has been approved by CMAS Apnea Commission prior to the course. 6. The candidates should be selected by the local federation and proposed to CMAS. 7. First theoretical training of candidate judges (CJs) will be done with the judge assistants to be used in the competition. 8. The CJs will also attend to the practical issues in a competition. 9. The instructor will follow the CJs at all phases, and it is up to him to make verbal or written exam for the CJs. 10. At the end of the theoretical and practical process the instructor will propose who has succeeded the course as the International Judge for the approval of BoD.
