2 WELCOME TO KYRGYZSTAN, Dear members, As President of Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA) and Vice President of WAKO (IF), and on behalf of President of WAKO (IF) and my colleagues in Asian Kickboxing Confederation Board of Directors, I am very pleased to invite you all and your delegation to attend Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA) Championships 2018, which will be held in city of CHOLPON-ATA (Kyrgyzstan) from 5th to 12th May 2018 included, in all styles (Full-contact, Low kick, K-1 Rules, Point-fighting, Light-contact, Kicklight, and Musical forms) in Seniors. As you all are informed, we are holding our Confederation Championships bi annual (every 2 years). The first part of our Confederation Championships 2016 was organized in Cheonju (Korea) and second part, which was planned to be organized before end of December 2016 was postponed in April 2017 in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) and organized with great success. For the Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA) s Championships 2018, after long discussion and exchanges, the board of Directors of our confederation adopted for city of Cholpon ATA in Kyrgyzstan in region of Issyk-Kul, which is well known in the world because of its beautiful lake. The Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA) s Championships 2018 is organized with collaboration of Kyrgyzstan Kickboxing Federation leaded by Mr Aleksandr Voinov who is well known to all of you not only because he is pioneer of Kickboxing in Central Asia but also because of his experienced team and full support of Kyrgyzstan National Olympic Committee. The best Asian Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA) referees and judges will run the tournaments and we are sure the competitions will be smooth and enjoyable. I personally visited the region and Issyk-Kul Lake and I am sure that Cholpon-ATA and Issyk-Kul will stay in your mind for a long time. Of course, we assure that you will also have enough time to go for sightseeing tour in the beautiful Cholpon-ATA and Issyk-Kul Lake. Looking forward to see you soon in Kyrgyzstan! We are glad to see you in our beautiful country - Kyrgyzstan, in the city of Cholpon-Ata, on the shore of one of the most beautiful lake in Central Asia - Issyk-Kul Lake. We express gratitude to the Asian Confederation of Kickboxing for the trust shown to us in choosing the host country for such a large-scale Event. This can be seen as evidence that Kyrgyzstan is still recognized of one of the important sports and cultural centers of our vast continent and in particular in Central Asia. We cannot but rejoice, because the development of physical culture and sports, the development of the principles of a healthy lifestyle is an important component of the state policy of our country. For all participants of the competition, there is a great opportunity to show bright and beautiful duels, to discover a new fan whose sympathy and support will leave only positive memories of us and our country. This takes Approximately 21 days more. To avoid any inconvenience you MUST send the enclosed Visa form by to info@wakoasia.com / registration@wakoasia.com before 01 April After receiving the enclosed Visa Form we will send an official invitation letter. This letter may provide the approval from different Ministries of Govt. of Kyrgyzstan. Note: We cannot guaranty the visa to delegations, in particular for whose visa form request has not been received within the above-mentioned deadline. All payments will be paid ONLY by CASH IN - USD or EURO currencies to the Organizing Committee official authorized person. 6 ACCOMMODATION AND HOTELS All Participants of the ASIA Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA) Championships 2018 must stay in the Issyk-Kul region, in the Resort Hotel «AURORA» sanctioned by Organization Committee of ASIA Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA) Championships 2018 for the entire period of their stay. All reservations must be made directly through Organization Committee of ASIA Kickboxing Confederation (WAKO ASIA) Championships Hotel Reservation Form must reach the Organization Committee by at the two following s addresses before 10 April 2018: and All rooms accommodation includes Bed (per your reservation), Half Board (breakfast and dinner), transportation from the hotel to the sports hall and back. Bulan-Sogottu Approximately 20 km from Cholpon-Ata Approximately 270 km from Bishkek. The hotel is surrounded by 47 hectares of well-kept park. The main building consists of 6 floors, in the form of a "white ship".

14 CODE OF CONDUCT GENERAL CONTACT All participants in the Championships, players, coaches, chaperone and relatives are expected to abide by the following code of conduct. USE OF ALCOHOL AND DRUGS BY COMPETITORS IS PROHIBITED State laws prohibit the use of alcohol by minors (under 18 years of age) and the possession or use of drugs. These laws will be strictly enforced by, team chaperone, and tournament officials. Any athlete found in violation of these laws may be subject to prosecution by law enforcement officers and they and their teammates will be immediately expelled from the Championships. The Head of Delegation must assume responsibility for monitoring player conduct to ensure that drinking and drug use laws are upheld. DAMAGE TO PLAYING SITES Should damage occur at any site by a player, coach, chaperon, or even a competitor s parent, the team responsible will be charged for the damages and the participant from this team will not be admitted to any ASIAN KICKBOXING CONFEDERATION (WAKO ASIA) and WAKO Championships. If the responsible individual/team cannot be determined, then all teams participating at the site during the occurrence will be sanctioned from future ASIAN KICKBOXING CONFEDERATION (WAKO ASIA) and WAKO Championships. We feel it is the responsibility of all teams, competitors, coaches, and families to ensure that the site is free of any problems and damages. In addition, the area of the arena your team occupies is to be free of trash when you leave your site. It is also the requirement of all competition sites that ONLY WATER; IN PLASTIC CONTAINERS, will be permitted inside the sport-hall. Violators will cause their team to be immediately disqualified and dismissed from the Championships. ARENA CONDUCT All Athletes will abide by ASIAN KICKBOXING CONFEDERATION (WAKO ASIA) Rules regarding Arena conduct. At all times coaches, team, opponents, and officials will be treated with the utmost respect. Chief of Delegations and Coaches must also assume full responsibility for enforcing arena conduct rules. Teams that fail to abide by these rules are subject to disciplinary action (e.g., DISMISSAL FROM THE EVENT). Note: It is the responsibility of every national chief delegation and coach to review with their teams this Code of Conduct. Individual and team violators of any provisions of this Code may be excluded from future participation in ASIAN KICKBOXING CONFEDERATION (WAKO ASIA) and WAKO events. The organizing committee will administer such disciplinary action.

The average participant in this Event is well mannered, well disciplined and very cooperative. Our greatest concerns are for safety of the participants, and that at the completion of these Championships, there will have been no incidents which would reflect poorly on any individuals, teams, or organizations. We ask for your co-operation and responsibility towards these aims. STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY I recognize my responsibility for the entire behavior of the athletes on my team throughout their participation in the ASIAN KICKBOXING CONFEDERATION (WAKO ASIA) CHAMPIONSHIPS 2018, Cholpon-Ata, Issyk-Kul Region. These responsibilities begin at the time of their first arrival and conclude after their final departure from the Tournament, Tournament Site or other Site which might be related to their participation in this event. This includes complete supervision while athletes are in their respective competition for these Championships. I also recognize that discipline problems arise in the late evening after the conclusion of the competition, in the form of not obeying the quiet hours between 10:30 PM and 6:00 AM, and especially on the last night of competition. I also recognize that the Organizing committee, the Tournament Director, and the Staff at each competitive site will be available to help control discipline problems and make the Tournament enjoyable for all. 23 About CHOLPON-ATA city Issyk-Kul Region Country: Kyrgyzstan Region: Issyk-Kul Region Issyk-Kul Region Elevation: 1,633 m (5,359 ft) Population Cholpon-Ata city The most popular sight near Cholpon-Ata are the petroglyphs. There is a stone garden just outside the main town that hosts excellent examples of drawings, balbals, and inscriptions from various time periods. Rukh Ordo is a center dedicated to 5 of the largest religions in the world: Catholicism, Orthodox Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Buddhism. ISSYK-KUL LAKE Issyk-Kul is the world s second largest alpine lake, lying at 1609 m (5,279 feet) above sea level. Even though it is surrounded by mountains, Issyk-Kul never freezes, thus its name means hot lake in Kyrgyz. The lake itself is surrounded by protected marshlands, two mountain ranges, and many popular resorts and destinations, including Cholpon-Ata and Karakol.
