8 TECHNICAL INFORMATION REGULATIONS Art. 1 Organisation The 2017 UEC MTB Downhill European Championships will be organized from Friday, 26 May to Sunday 28 May Art. 2 Participation The participation is open for the following categories: Junior Men Junior Women Elite Men Elite Women Masters Men / / / / / / / / 70+ Masters Women / / / / / / / 65+ Art. 3 Participation NATIONAL TEAMS The participation is open for European riders only. National Federations may enter the following riders free of charge: Women Juniors Men Juniors Women Elite Men Elite Max. 6 riders per nation / per category The National Federations have to register their riders directly on the UEC website ( Deadline for the registrations (riders, staff and NF Official Delegates) - Monday 17 May 2017 (24:00) Riders must compete in their national jersey

9 Art. 4 Participation OTHER RIDERS The participation is open for European riders only. Registrations have to be done using the organiser s registration form. Deadline for the registration: 17 May 2017 (24:00) Art. 5 Regulations The 2017 UEC MTB Downhill European Championships will be run under the auspices and according the regulations, decisions, conditions and instructions of the UEC and UCI Art. 6 Control/registration participants NATIONAL TEAMS Juniors and Elite The control of the licenses, clothing, registration of the participants and distribution of other documents shall be on Friday, 26 May from to Art. 7 Control/registration participants OTHER RIDERS Juniors, Elite and Masters The control of the licenses, registration of the participants and distribution of other documents shall be on Friday, 26 May from 8:00 to 15:00 Art. 8 Body numbers The riders are obliged to use the body-numbers which will be supplied by the organization. Art. 9 Start order The start order will be made up applying UCI/UEC regulations. Art. 10 Ceremony We kindly ask the first 3 riders to be in time for the victory ceremony. Riders must present themselves in race clothing, wearing their race apparel and shall not wear a helmet, a cap a headband or glasses until they leave the podium ceremony area. After the ceremony, the first three are asked to join the press officer to the pressroom in case they are asked. The press room at Palazzetto dell Sport.

10 Art. 11 Anti-doping control The anti-doping controls will be under the responsibility of the Cycling Anti-Doping Foundation (CADF). An official Communiqué will be distributed by the appointed DCO. Art. 12 Results Results will be published on the UEC website: Art. 13 Program The program and schedule can be changed on demand of the commissaires panel and the organization. The competition program will be daily announced on the notice-boards. Art. 14 Unforeseen For any issue not mentioned in (or not supported by) the regulations, the commissaires panel, in conjunction with the organization, will decide. Art 15 Press Photographers are allowed on the track only with the UEC media vest. Other members of the press (photographers and journalists) are not allowed on the track. Press can be accredited on demand ( dedicated page), before 20 th of May. The accreditations will be checked on access points. Art. 16 Penalties The UCI scale of penalties will solely apply.
