2 Shooting range description The competition will take place at the very well known ASDTAV Trap Concaverde Shooting Range in Lonato (Brescia) Italy, which is equipped with 12 multi-purpose ranges as follows: 12 combined Trap/Double Trap, 5 combined Trap/Skeet, 3 combined Trap/ Compak Sporting. The ranges are oriented to the North/North East. The Club is situated in the tourist Lake Garda District, at a distance of 8 kms from Desenzano, 15 kms from the picturesque village of Sirmione, 25kms from downtown Brescia, 40 kms from Verona and Mantova. Verona Villafranca (VRN) Catering The Shooting Club has full restaurant facilities that can offer meals with menu à la carte, self-service buffet, pizza and Bar. Training ranges The ranges will be open for unofficial trainings prior to the competition every day from Monday to Friday. Car rentals Rental cars are available at the airports and downtown Desenzano. You can find special prices on our website at Accomodation The delegations will be accommodated at selected 3*** - 4**** star hotels and holiday-onthe-farms located near Lake Garda, mainly in Desenzano (8/ km from the Shooting range). Trap Concaverde agreed special rates on B/B basis with the hotels mentioned in the annexed list. We would suggest you to provide to your bookings in due time. Formalities Entry Visa: European Union Nationals possessing a valid passport or Identity Card can enter Italy without any problem. As for non-european Union participants, they are advised to check the matter of visas well in advance and apply to F.I.T.A.V. ( internazionale@fitav.it) for the issue of the required nominative invitation letter no later than 26th April The Nations concerned must contact the nearest Italian Embassy/Consulate to apply for a Sport Visa.

5 Gun Licence, Police and customs clearance A maximum of three shotguns and cartridges are allowed to enter in Italy. European Union Citizens are advised to obtain the necessary EU Gun passport which allows them to travel and dispatch with ease the Police formalities at the Italian Border/ airport. As for the other shooters (non-european Union) they are kindly urged to ask for the FITAV permit to be shown to the Police and Customs. Shooters travelling by plane will have to fill in an additional double copy declaration upon arrival at the Italian airport (Police Officers). Police and Customs firearms formalities will take place upon arrival at the first airport on Italian National Territory and at the last one at departure. At departure from Italy, according to the different Carriers and destinations, passengers will be charged a Weapon Tax for each gun. The fee varies from one Company to another and is subject to changes at any time in accordance with the Carrier s rules. Shooters travelling by air, on departing from Italy will be allowed to re-export a maximum quantity of 125 cartridges only, packed into a single ammunition case which must not exceed 5 Kg. in weight, provided that the quantity declared on arrival into Italy, is in excess of this amount. Ammunition A wide range of local and international ammunition will be available for sale at the shooting club. Storage of guns and ammunition Storage of guns and ammunition will be available at the shooting range at the fee of 3,00 per ea. gun during the day and 5,00 the night. It also is allowed to take the weapons in Hotel provided the owner is attending. Regulation Competition will be conducted in accordance with FITASC Regulation. Co-ordinator: MALOSIO Flavio, Italy Referees The referees for the competition are Qualified FITASC referees. Ceremonies The Opening Ceremony will be held at the shooting range. The Closing Ceremony will be held at the shooting range soon after the Award ceremony. Weather information The climatic conditions in May are normally very pleasant, The average temperature is expected to be 18 / 23 degrees Celsius.
