About HERCULES OLYMPIA 2012 The Hercules Olympia 2012 is the natural evolution of Scott Horton s original Mr Hercules body building show which started in 1998.

The opening of the Hercules School of Physical Training and Combat has spread our net over everything we love and stand for as the original Hercules Foundation.

We encapsulated everything that was dear to us from our world and produced a pioneering and spectacular feast of muscle and combat.

One sport that did not feature at the festival was one of our main strengths of bodybuilding.

2 About HERCULES OLYMPIA 2012 The Hercules Olympia 2012 is the natural evolution of Scott Horton s original Mr Hercules body building show which started in Over the duration of time the whole Hercules enterprise has moved into strongman, power lifting and combat sport. The opening of the Hercules School of Physical Training and Combat has spread our net over everything we love and stand for as the original Hercules Foundation. In 2011 the Hercules team created a very successful outdoor event called the Valhalla Festival of Muscle and Power. We encapsulated everything that was dear to us from our world and produced a pioneering and spectacular feast of muscle and combat. The event was a huge success and made a substantial amount of money for BLESMA and a local children s charity set up for the event with great military support. One sport that did not feature at the festival was one of our main strengths of bodybuilding. This year the Mr Hercules International and Miss Aphrodite International will be 2 of the main features at the Hercules Olympia; we will also bring all the excitement of strongman, power lifting, boxing, mixed martial arts and other disciplines, as well as many trades stands and interactive competitions. Hercules Olympia 2012 will be at the Essex Arena, Five Lakes Crowne Plaza Resort, Colchester. This beautiful hotel and exhibition complex is unrivalled in the UK as a spectacular venue where all facilities are catered for within the same grounds. This is an event not to be missed; come and enjoy the grand Hercules experience. Events will include: The famous Mr Hercules International Body Building Show The Miss Aphrodite International Fitness and Beauty Show British Unequipped BPC RAW British Power Lifting Championship Final Mixed Martial Arts Championships and Exhibitions Strongman competition British Army Fitness demonstrations World record strength attempts Interactive spectator areas Trade stands Licensed bar and food areas

Weekend Programme The event will open at 1000 hours on both Saturday and Sunday and the programme will include the below activities. Miss Aphrodite International will take place on the main stage on the Saturday commencing at 1100 hours. The Arena demonstrations will include: Ronnie Machine Gun Green a.k.a Simingdam The Black Tiger - Master Sken Muay Thai - Stewart McGill, Senior Instructor with the British Combat Association and Urban Krav Maga - Eric Amada, Escrima Sensei - Steve Crowther, Japanese Iaido Sensei - Chris Jones, Martial Arts Movie Stuntman - Sean Doyland, former International Karate Athlete - Gatka Akahara Sikh Martial Arts Group - Jim Dundon, Spirit of Combat Master Brian Dossett - Steve Timperley, KEWAP - Open Strongman competition British Army Fitness demonstrations A two day seminar programme is being finalised at present Other demonstrations and guests are still being negotiated. The British Powerlifting Congress RAW Powerlifting challenge has a qualifier on the Saturday and on the Sunday is the overall BPC RAW Powerlifting Final. [ Mr Hercules International competition will take place on the Sunday on the main stage commencing at 1100 hours. The event will close at 1800 hours on both days and there will be entertainment in the adjoining bars within the Five Lakes Crowne Plaza Resort for all to enjoy in the evenings.
