2 BULLETIN # 1 Issued: Novembre 8 th, 2017 Dominican Bowling Federation 1 capitulo7@claro.net.do Website: CONCECABOL Senior and Super Senior DominicanRepublic 2018 Bulletin 1 It is with great pleasure and honor that the Dominican Bowling Federationwelcomes the entire members Federations of the Central America& Caribbean Bowling Confederation CONCEABOL to the 2018Senior and Super SeniorConcecabol Championship, a tournament featuring the top Senior and Super Senior. In senior teams will consist of four female bowlers and four male bowlers, the players must be 50 years of age or above in the year 2018, in super seniors teams will consist in two female bowlers and two male bowlers, the players must be 60 years old or above in the year 2018,and each country may enroll has many as two teams. This tournament will be held at Sebelén Bowling Center, located in Santo Domingo,Dominican Republic. This bowling facilityhas already hosted international events such as the Pan-American Games, Central America& Caribbean Games and World Youth Games. It is crucial for the Organization Committee that every federation follow the deadline dates given in this bulletin. Included in this bulletin you will find: 1. Information on the host city: Santo Domingo Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic Santo Domingo, officially known as Santo Domingo de Guzmán, is the capital and largest city of the Dominican Republic. Its metropolitan population reaches exactly 7,000,000. The city is located in the Caribbean Sea, at the mouth of the Ozama River. It was founded by Bartholomew Columbus in 1496 as the first seat of Spanish colonial rule in the New World. Many of Santo Domingo's most notable landmarks are located within the Zona Colonial district of the city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since The Colonial Zone, bordered by the Ozama River, also has an impressive collection of 16th century buildings, including palatial houses and majestic churches that reflect the architectural style of the late medieval period. The city's most important colonial buildings include the Cathedral Santa María La Menor, called La CatedralPrimada de América, America's First Cathedral, which states its distinction; the Alcázar de Colón, America's first castle, once the residence of Viceroy of the Indies Don Diego Colón, a son of Christopher Columbus; the Monasterio de San Francisco, the ruins of the first monastery in the Americas; the Museo de las Casas Reales, in a monumental complex that includes the former Palace of the Governors and the building of the former Royal Audiencia of Santo Domingo; the Fortaleza Ozama, the oldest fortress in the Americas; the PantéonNacional, a former Jesuit edifice now hosting the remains of various renowned Dominicans; and the Dominican Convent, the first convent in the Americas. Just outside the fortifications'spuertadelconde is the Altar de la Patria, built in 1976 as a monument to the heroes of the country's independence in International Airport of the Americas (SDQ) All delegations will arrive into our country at International Airport of the Americas (SDQ). It is located approximated 27km away from the city, the host hotel and the bowling center, within a 40minute drive maximum. Currency The local currency is PESOS at an Exchange rate of RD$48 = US $1 (approximately). Climate The average temperature in Santo Domingo varies very little since the tropical trade winds help mitigate the heat and humidity throughout the year. Thanks to these trade winds, Santo Domingo has a tropical climate but seldom experiences the oppressive heat and humidity that one may expect to find. December and January are the coolest months and July and August are the warmest.

Facilities and Services 7 FEBODOM Official website will be the official website of the tournament featuring the latest information and updated news of the tournament, including: News Latest results Events schedule Players Roster Bulletins Official host hotel information Transportation schedules Contact information Results A copy of the results will be handed to each country delegate and press after every event is finished. In addition we will be handing out the results every two games. Scores will be shown in the scoring monitors and will be located in a designated area. When the event is finished, scores will be posted on the official website. It will also be posted in FEBODOMFacebook profile: Federación de BolicheDominicana. Transportation Services Airport Hotel - Airport Upon arrival at Las Americas Airport, the Tournament Committee will arrange transportation services according to your delegation needs. In our second bulletin we will be asking for the arrival date, time, airline, delegation size, etc. in order for us to review your flight status and arrange transportation accordingly. This service is included for all players, coaches, delegates and supporters staying at the Official Host Hotel. Hotel Bowling Center Hotel There will be a specific bus schedule according to the events. This service is included for all players, coaches, delegates and supporters staying at the Official Host Hotel. An information board will be at the Hotel, with the official information of bus schedules. Restaurants, Mall and surroundings Both the Bowling Center and the Hotel are situated in a commercial area with several ofdifferent restaurants, food courts, shopping malls, banks, drugstores, etc.

Fees Entry Fee The cost per athlete, coach and delegates is $130.00Supporters will have an entry fee of $ US. * All teams must pay their entry fee at the Technical Meeting. ** Entry fee includes all transportation services, access to the bowling center, Closing Banquet Ceremony. *** Credit Card: Countries willing to pay their entry fee by credit card will be charged a 4% extra, according to the Bank fees. Pre payments To guarantee the reservation of the rooms you must provide a valid credit card or prepayment. In addition, you can anticipate payments. We will be providing the method in our second bulletin. 7.
