The Organization is in possession of the race licenses. 2

3 Event regulations Participation The participation is possible for riders from every country for the next categories: Boys U17 Girls U17 Juniors Juniors women U23 / Elite U23 / Elite women Participation and registration The Track Series races will be held in three cities: Amsterdam, Alkmaar en Apeldoorn. Riders are allowed to participate only one raceday although for winning prices a rider has to participate in all three cities. To subscribe and unsubscribe riders you have to send a mail to the velodrome you want to participate. If you want to participate more days, please mail every veledrome. If needed you are allowed to subscribe on location until the teammanagersmeeting starts. Warning! The jury-team will make a decision based on the amount of riders. We cannot ensure participation when you subscribe on location. The Jury-team and organization has the right to merge categories, extend or expire series if it is needed. Just to create the most valuable races for everyone. Costs Participation is only possible if the payment is done. Costs are 5,00 per rider per day. Cash payment only. Control/ registration The payment, control of the licenses, registration of the participants and issue of the body-numbers and other documents and materials will be located on the infield of the track, directly after the payment is done. Body-numbers Riders are required to use body-numbers of the organization. It is not allowed to switch or change these numbers. Riders are required to drop off their body-numbers after the races at the same place of getting them. We use the licenses of the riders as a deposit. The organization will use next body-numbers by category in general. 4 Transponders Riders are required to use a transponder. This must be placed on the front fork and be as close as possible to the middle of the front wheel. This is your own responsibility and at incorrect placement the jury-team can impose a start ban for the next race. Ticket prices The ticket prices for spectators is 3.- per person. Children younger than 15 years (0-14) are for free. As well as participants with an accreditation and one trainer / manager per rider. Also crew, medical staff, organization, jury-team (KNWU) and press are exempt from payment. Teammanagers/jury meeting The teammanagers / jury meetings will take place on: Amsterdam Apeldoorn Alkmaar

5 Program Track Series (Sprint) 200 meter Sprintraces Keirin Order of races 200 meters qualification by all riders of all categories. Classification in groups of 3 riders. Classification shall take place only on time. The categories format is released. 1st round sprints: the rider who wins the race promotes a pool. The last rider degrades a pool. (with the exception of the first and the last pool, in the first pool cannot be promoted, in the last pool cannot be degraded) If the number of riders makes it necessary the organization has the right to make a fastest pool (pool 1) with 2 riders or the last pool with 4 riders. There will be three rounds. The results after 3 rounds will be fixed per category. By these results riders will be placed in a keirin pool of 6 riders. Riders 1-6 in the first pool, riders 7-12 in the second pool etc. etc. If necessary the number of riders of the first or last pool can be different. The first 2 riders of every keirin race promotes a pool, the last 2 riders each race degrades a pool. Number 3 and 4 keeps their places in that pool. There will be 2 keirin rounds. The final results per category will be published after the second race. Classification The results of the 200 meters qualification, the results of the sprintraces and the results of the keirin races are counting equally in the final results. For a win a rider gets 1 point. For a second place a rider gets 2 point etc. When the total amount of points are the same between two riders, the amount of wins are decisive. If these are also the same, the 200 meter time is decisive. Warning! To win prices (price)money a rider has to participate in all the cities (Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Apeldoorn) 5

6 Results After the races the results will be on the KNWU website as soon as possible (knwu.nl). Ceremonies There will be a victory ceremony for the best 3 riders of the day (per category) as soon as possible after the last race. Riders are required to wear their cycling jersey. Caps, scarfs and (sun)glasses are not allowed. During the last Track Series day, there will be a victory ceremony for the winners of the day and for the winners of the Track Series Sprint. General The Track Series will be run under the auspices and according the regulations, decisions, conditions and instructions of the KNWU. Technical Guide Be aware that this technical guide can be changed before the Track Series starts. The last version of the technical guide will be uploaded when the registration term is closed. 6
