Indiana Pacers 114, Magic 112: Victor Oladipo scored 24 points, including the go-ahead jumper with 3:30 left, as Indiana overcame a 21-point, first half deficit and edged Orlando, , at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. The Pacers swept the season series with the Magic, 3-0. Lance Stephenson scored 21 points off the bench for the Pacers, while Thaddeus Young netted 20. Aaron Gordon led the Magic with 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Evan Fournier scored 21 points. Both teams shot well from the floor Orlando shot 54.5 percent, while Indiana shot 54 percent. However, the Magic missed 12 free throws, going 20-of-32. Orlando led by as many as 21 points during the second quarter and midway through the fourth quarter. From that point, Indiana went on a 15-0 run, capped off by Domantas Sabonis layup with 2:22 remaining. With 20 seconds remaining, the Magic trailed by two and had a chance to tie or win the game. Gordon missed the first of two free throws with 7.9 left, then missed the second intentionally. Orlando grabbed the offensive rebound, but a three-pointer from the right wing by Jonathon Simmons was off the mark and Indiana escaped with the victory. RECENT GAMES: Jan. 23 vs. Sacramento Kings 105, Magic 99: Garrett Temple poured in a career-high 34 points, including 19 in the fourth quarter, as Sacramento overcame an 11-point deficit and defeated Orlando, , at a sold-out Amway Center. Willie Cauley- Stein had 21 points and nine rebounds for the Kings, who snapped an eight-game losing streak. Evan Fournier led five Magic players in double figures with 22 points, while Elfrid Payton tallied 21 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and three steals. Orlando led with 4:03 left in the third quarter. However, the Kings dominated in the final stanza, outscoring the Magic, Temple went a perfect 7-of-7 from the floor during the last 12 minutes, including 3-of-3 from three-point range. Jan. Boston Magic 103, Celtics 95: Elfird Payton led five Magic players in double figures with 22 points, as Orlando defeated Boston, , at TD Garden. The win snapped the Magic s 11-game losing streak overall and marked Orlando s first victory at Boston since Feb. 7, 2010, a span of 14 games. Evan Fournier netted 19 points for the Magic. Kyrie Irving led the Celtics and all scorers with 40 points.
