2 -2- Competition details The following details include rules for 2018 seasons organised by Ariels VCNA. These competitions also have a code of conduct by which every team and spectator must adhere to. Matches will be 4 x 8 minute quarters with no injury time allowed Umpires supplied Entry fee: Court fees: $50.00per team per season (payed at time of entry) $40.00 per game, paid on the night in cash Bank Bendigo Bank Account Ariels VCNA BSB Account Number Game times: 5pm and 5.40pm we will supply court balls for all games there is no entry fee to the stadium. Canteen is available during these sessions only at Doncaster Secondary College.

3 Entries -3- All teams must fill in a completed entry form. registration fee must be paid by the first game of the season. Your captain will be notified of starting time one week ahead of your competition. Every player must be registered with Netball Victoria. Because you are entering to play with a Netball Victoria affiliated association all players, coaches and umpires in Victoria are required to pay an annual state registration fee state registration prices are seniors - $73.00, juniors- $ (31/12/2006). Registration is from 01/01/2018 to 31/12/2018. All registrations are to paid online through arielsnetball.com.au 15u &17u Social competitions Every player must register with ariels VCNA to play in this competition. If you have already paid with another competition My Netball will automatically deduct the fee from your registration Uniforms Each team will have all seven players on the court in the same design and colour uniform. the standard uniform of the association is an Aline dress / bodysuit / skirt/skorts / shorts (no pockets) and shirt with suitable dark briefs/bike shorts. Suitable footwear to be worn at all times. Long nails & earrings must still be taped. Tracks suit pants, slacks, skins or bike shorts (without a skirt/dress) are not be worn during play. All teams to be in correct uniform after third game if not penalty 5 goals. Walkovers Teams wishing not to play will give a walkover Penalty $132.00(if not notified before 48hrs) Otherwise - $97.00 All forfeit fees must be paid before you play your next game

4 -4- Please note that you can only play one game per night per comp. and that is with the team that you are registered with...penalty loss of 4 premiership pts. No team may take the court with fewer than 5 The defaulting team shall be responsible for the imposed walkover fees and the score of 10 goals to nil will be recognised, and 4 points allotted accordingly. Any team having more that 2 forfeits in one season will have to show the assoc. reason why they should be allowed to continue the season. Court fees All court fees must be paid before teams can take the court. Injuries All injuries must be recorded on the back of the score sheet and reported to the stadium manager on duty. New players New players and emergency players must record all their details including vna registration on the back of score sheet at the time of their first game. Scorers First named teams are to supply a scorer. failure to do so will incur a penalty of 5 goals. no scorer is to be under 14 years of age. In finals both teams are to supply a scorer Finals All players in final matches must have played in at least three matches with their registered team in which they will be playing in the final series. Umpires All umpires will be supplied by the association and will be badged or in training for testing with support

5 -5- First aid It is suggested that all teams have their own first aid kit. Ice, for injuries, is available from the organisers.
