The Trojans are the defending MPSF regular-season and tournament champions. The Trojans have won 29 of their last 33 games. USC is on a three-game winning streak and can match the season s longest streak with a win over Oregon on Friday. The Trojans have won 13 straight MPSF regular-season games; a streak that dates back to April 25, 2015 (16-4 win at San Diego State). USC is led by 2015 MPSF Player of the Year and two-time All-American attacker Michaela Michael (Sr.); the MPSF s all-time leader in draw controls (351). She also ranks third in league history for goals (196) and is USC s career leader. Sr. attacker Cynthia Del Core set a USC single-game record with 11 points (5g, 6a) in a win over Dartmouth (March 17); the most by an MPSF player since Denver s Jill Remenapp had 12 points in Michael has been named MPSF Offensive Player of the Week three straight weeks and has nine-career weekly awards from the league. LOS ANGELES The No. 9-ranked USC lacrosse team (9-3, 3-0 MPSF) hits the road for back-to-back MPSF games at Oregon (7-5, 3-1) on Papé Field in Eugene, Ore., at 1 p.m. PT on Friday (April 7) and then turns around to face San Diego State (8-4, 2-2) at the Aztec Lacrosse Field in San Diego, Calif., on Saturday (April 8) at 6 p.m. PT. The home institutions will stream both games live. USC enters the weekend on a three-game winning streak and an undefeated mark in league games. The Trojans have won 13 consecutive MPSF regular-season games and have not dropped a game to a league opponent since the end of the 2015 campaign. Following back-to-back 21-point outbursts, the USC offense sits atop the MPSF rankings with goals per contest. The Trojans also lead the nation with an 8.44 margin of victory. USC s 6.81 goals-against average now leads the nation and the Trojans.500 shooting percentage is tops in the MPSF and 3rd in the NCAA. The Women of Troy are led by two-time All-American attacker Michaela Michael (40g, 12a, 76dc) who has been named the MPSF Player of the Week each of the last two weeks. She guides a potent scoring attack with fellow seniors Kylie Drexel (19g, 10a), Gabby McMahon (20g, 6a), and Cynthia Del Core (22g, 15a). Junior goalie Gussie Johns leads the MPSF in goals-against average (7.19 gaa) and leads the league in ground balls (4.17 gbpg). Freshman midfielder Kerrigan Miller (22g, 9a) has four hat tricks in 12 games and is a two-time MPSF Rookie of the Week selection. On defense, senior Nina Kelty (19gb, 8ct) and junior Lydia Sutton (22gb, 17ct) anchor the back line.

Thanks to a generous $150,000 donation from Hobart and Soni McAlister, a new field was built on the corner of 30th Street and Hoover Street in The field served as the home of USC soccer for 14 years before lacrosse was added as USC s 21st varsity sport in Trojan lacrosse played its first season in the spring of 2013, and hosted Massachusetts in their first game at the field on February 10. In 2000, a permanent scoreboard was installed in the southwest corner of the field. In the summer of 2012, the field was moved eastward to accommodate the construction of a new fire station, which put the field s new entrance at 30th and University Avenue. USC lacrosse is 28-8 (.778) all-time at McAlister Field (since 2013). The Trojans went undefeated on the home field in 2015 (7-0) and 2016 (9-0). USC has also hosted at least one home game at the LA Memorial Coliseum in each of the program s first four seasons and is 3-2 in the historic venue.

3 USC Head Coach Lindsey Munday One of the most accomplished collegiate women s lacrosse players in the history of the sport, Lindsey Munday was handpicked to lead the first-ever USC women s lacrosse team in Munday was named the MPSF Coach of the Year in 2015 and 2016; and was the IWLCA s West/Midwest Regional Coach of the Year. She was also chosen as the ILWomen National Coach of the Year in As a player, she won a pair of NCAA titles with Northwestern in 2005 and She then became an assistant at NU and helped the Wildcats to three titles from Munday is a two-time world champion (2009 and 13) with the U.S. women s national team. In 2009, she earned All-World recognition with 17 goals and 20 assists (37 points) in seven games and later captained the 2013 squad to a record seventh FIL World Cup title. Munday has a (.674) overall record and has guided the Trojans to backto-back NCAA berths ( ), and the 2016 MPSF title. In 2013, she exceeded expectations and led USC to a fourth-place finish with an appearance in the league tourney after the Trojans were picked to finish seventh. Munday was the top assistant at Northwestern ( ) as the recruiting coordinator and offensive coach. NU was 85-4 during her tenure and went 23-0 in She tutored several All-Americans, including Tewaaraton Trophy winners Kristen Kjellman and Hannah Nielsen. One of the greatest players in NU history, Munday was a Tewaaraton semifinalist in 2005 and 2006, and finished her career as the program s all-time leader in assists (128), third in points (268), and fifth in goals (140). She set single-season NU records for points (107) and assists (54) in The Wildcats were and won the school s first-ever NCAA titles in the sport. She helped Northwestern become the first school outside the Eastern Time zone to win a national title and the first program to win consecutive NCAA championships. She was a two-time first-team All-American ( ), All-Region, and All- American Lacrosse Conference selection. Most recently, Oregon fell, 15-6, on an East Coast trip to face Virginia. The Ducks lead the MPSF in assists at 6.92 per game. Cambi Cukar ranks 14th in the nation at 2.33 assists per game and is second on the active career leaders list in the NCAA. Cukar has also won 31 draws for Oregon to go with six goals and 12 ground balls. Shannon Williams leads the Ducks attack with 37 goals (18a, 55pts) and ranks second in the MPSF. Bella Pyne has also broken the 30-goal mark and has 11 assists to go with a team-high 19 caused turnovers. Mariah Gatti is the Ducks third 30-goal scorer and also had 31 draw controls this season. In goal, Becca Katzen surrenders goals per game with a.366 save percentage. USC is 3-2 all-time against the Ducks and has won each of the last two contests. SAN DIEGO STATE: The Aztecs (8-4, 2-2 MPSF) are coming off a loss to Fresno State, which snapped a three-game winning streak. Previously, SDSU put together a five-game winning streak between Feb. 24-Mar. 15. In both streaks, the Aztecs won overtime games. San Diego State leads the MPSF in ground balls at per game to rank 15th in the NCAA. Kristen Hickey has 30 ground balls and is the Aztecs leading scorer with 31 points (25g, 6a). Hickey is also second on the team with 17 caused turnovers and third with 15 draw controls. Alex Watson (23g, 3a) and Kayla Dietz (23g, 1a) are the other major pieces to the Aztec offense. On the other side of the ball, Mackenzie Lech has 29 ground balls, 16 caused turnovers, and 13 draw controls. In goal, Katrina Reeves has a.478 save percentage with a goals-against average. USC s non-televised home games at McAlister Field will be on the Pac-12+ stream portal at Pac-12.com/live/USC-2. LAST TIME OUT: The Trojans got back to their MPSF schedule and posted a pair of resounding wins over Fresno State (21-5) and California (21-4). The wins were the second and third in a row for USC and pushed the team s MPSF regular-season winning streak to 13 straight. It also extended USC s home winning streak to 22 consecutive including 20 straight on McAlister Field. Michaela Michael scored four goals against the Bulldogs and had six against the Bears for her 33rd and 34th-career hat tricks. Kaeli Huff had a breakout offensive performance with five goals against FSU to lead the Trojans to victory. HOME, SWEET HOME: USC has won 22 straight home games including those played at McAlister Field and at the LA Memorial Coliseum. The Trojans have won 20 straight at McAlister Field and own a 28-8 all-time record on home grass. USC has not lost at McAlister Field since April 18, 2014 (10-8 to Oregon).

The Trojans own wins over Stetson, Dartmouth (2), LIU Brooklyn, and Marist in true road games. USC defeated James Madison at a neutral location in the 2015 NCAA first round in Durham, N.C.; and beat Ohio State in a game played in New Jersey. This regular season, USC has played games in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey. The Trojans also played two for the first time in Florida earlier this season. POLL POSITION: The Trojans opened the season ranked No. 4 in the IWLCA Coaches preseason poll. The ranking was a program high and was also the highest any team from the MPSF and from the West Coast had ever been ranked in the coaches poll. Following two wins, USC moved up one spot to No. 3 to further rewrite the record books. USC has spent 22 consecutive weeks ranked in the IWLCA poll (including 17 straight in the top 10) dating back to a No. 19 ranking in the 2016 preseason poll. KA-POW: Junior goalie Gussie Johns and freshman midfielder Kerrigan Miller received MPSF Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week honors, respectively, following USC s thrilling overtime victory over No. 9 Northwestern. Johns had 17 saves (second most in school history) and tied a school record with eight ground balls. Miller scored her first-career hat trick, which included the gamewinning goal to put the Wildcats away. On March 20, senior attacker Michaela Michael was named the league s Offensive Player of the Week and Miller repeated her Rookie of the Week honors as the first MPSF player to do so this season. Michael was also chosen on March 27 for her eighth-career nod and then again on April 3 for her ninth. On April 3, freshman midfielder Kaeli Huff was named Rookie of the Week for the first time in her career. CORE POWER: Senior attacker Cynthia Del Core s 11-point outburst in USC s 19-8 win over Dartmouth (March 17) set a new single-game school record. She broke the previous record of nine points reached by Michaela Michael once and six other times by Caroline delyra. Del Core reached new career highs in goals (5) and assists (6) and posted the highest point total in a single game by an MPSF player in four years: since Denver s Jill Remenapp had 12 points in a game in The 11 points tied for fifth in MPSF single-game history and her six assists tied the USC single-game record held by Michael and delyra (six times). RED, WHITE, AND BLUE TIMES TWO: Junior goalie Gussie Johns and associate head coach Devon Wills were each named to the U.S. Lacrosse Women s National Team roster that will compete at the upcoming FIL Women s World Cup in Guildford, England, July Johns is the first-ever USC student-athlete to receive a call up to the senior national team. Wills, Johns mentor, will represent the U.S. for the third consecutive World Cup. She helped lead Team USA to record sixth and seventh world titles in 2009 and She was named Player of the Match in the 2009 gold-medal game as she preserved an 8-7 win over Australia. OH, CANADA: Junior defender Lydia Sutton and sophomore defender Avery Hogarth were each named to the Canadian Lacrosse Association s Senior National Team roster that will compete at the upcoming FIL Women s World Cup in Guildford, England, July The duo helped Canada win its first gold medal in the 2015 FIL U19 World Championship. Sutton was also a part of the 2013 Canadian roster that took silver in the FIL World Cup when it lost to the U.S. in the final. ALL-AMERICAN GIRLS: The Women of Troy have celebrated four IWLCA All- America selections through four years as a program. Senior attacker Michaela Michael was the first-ever All-American selection as a third-teamer in Last year, Michael and defender Courtney Tarleton were each named to the first team. Senior midfielder Amanda Johansen was chosen to the third team to give the Trojans two first-team and two third-team selections all-time.

7 HAT TRICK MAGIC: Senior attacker Michaela Michael has scored three or more goals in 34 games in her career. She is the program s all-time leader for hat-trick games. Senior attacker Kylie Drexel is the next active Trojan on the all-time list with 12 hat-trick games. Senior attacker Cynthia Del Core ranks third on the team s current roster with 10 all-time games of three goals or more. In all, 16 Trojans have scored hat tricks in their careers. STATE YOUR CASE: The Trojans roster is made up of players from 10 different states. California and New York lead with seven squadwomen from each. Four Women of Troy are from New Jersey. As it turns out, the summer during which Gussie was to be born, her brothers (Tucker, Bo, and Gibson) knew someone at their summer camp named Gussie and had taken a liking to the name. Born into an athletic family, the fact that there happened to have been an athlete named Gussie Johns who played four sports at Princeton in the late 1970 s, only further solidified the boys choice. Beyond her athletic pedigree, Johns is a business administration major who aspires to one day own her own company. She is also quite the skier. She was named the Journal News Westchester/ Putnam s 2014 Girls Skier of the Year. Concialdi captured the New York Section 1 Girls Giant Slalom title and the Skimeister crown (for the lowest combined time for slalom and giant slalom) and finished in the top 10 in both downhill events at the state championships as a junior. Outside of sports and her career aspirations, Jackson can play the piano and guitar, and is quite the singer. 18 GET INVOLVED: Freshman defender Emily Shields wasted no time plugging in on campus. She is a member of the Trojan Athletic Senate and the Student Business Association. 19 TOP OF THE CLASS: Freshman midfielder Kerrigan Miller was the top-rated women s lacrosse recruit according to Inside Lacrosse. She is USC s first-ever No. 1 recruit and brings U19 national team experience to the squad. Miller, who is one of five siblings, comes from an athletic family. Her older sister MacKenzie played lacrosse at Belmont Abbey College and sister Delaney is on the snowboard team at East Carolina University. 20 LADY OF THE NORTH: Junior defender Lydia Sutton who is sometimes referred to as the Lady of the North, and Lyd the Kid among other things wears her jersey number to meet a happy medium. As a multi-sport athlete in high school, she donned No. 18 for lacrosse and No. 22 for soccer. She was also Davis Female Athlete of the Year as a senior. 37 UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Freshman midfielder Kaeli Huff has had a lot of familial sports figures to look up to. She draws inspiration from her father Scott who played for and coached the New York Saints indoor lacrosse team. Her uncle, Steven Huff, played lacrosse at North Carolina and later for the Saints and Lizards. Another uncle, Kevin Huff, played football and lacrosse at Hofstra and played lacrosse for the N.Y. She was born in and hails from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Hogarth played her freshman season at Vermont before transferring to join the Women of Troy.
