2 GBRMG Competition Rules 1. Fixture rules are in accordance with the Australian Netball Rule Book, unless otherwise stated in these rules. 2. All games will be 2 x 13 minute halves. No injury time. 3. Teams must supply a competent adult umpire. Teams must score their own games. A scorer from each team must sit together and score the entire game at the score chairs allocated. 4. Score cards will be courtside on a clipboard in a plastic container along with the game ball at the scorer s area. Score cards are to be returned to control at the completion of the game by the winning team s Manager/Scorer. 5. Teams are to supply their own practice balls. 6. Fingernails must be cut short (not visible above fingers) with no taping. No jewelry, body jewelry, body piercing or hair combs may be worn. Netball gloves may be worn. 7. Uniform requirements: Teams with netball uniforms must all wear the same uniform. Team without netball uniforms must wear matching tops and bottoms. Shirts may be different designs and makes but they must be the same color. All teams must supply their own playing bibs. 8. Points: Win 3, Draw 2, Play Team Coaches must have a basic first aid kit. 10. Umpire allocations will be team names and that team must supply an umpire where required. If you need an umpire then you must request one at a cost of $100 for the weekend. Please admin@cairnsnetball.net.au to request an umpire. 11. Team Coaches should remind players to drink plenty of fluids, wear soft brimmed hats or visors, sunscreen, and suitable footwear. 12. Canteen facilities will be available for snacks, hot and cold lunch and dinner items as well as hot and cold drinks. 13. On arrival each team is to submit a replacement team form. And pay any umpire monies to control. PRESENTATIONS WILL BE HELD AFTER THE LAST GAME ON SUNDAY.

4 Please see below divisions for the GBRMG weekend. SC Division - will all play each other once through over the weekend, and the winner will be determined on points. SC Division is a combined division with the PL & the 50+, they will play each other also once through then the 50+ finals and the SC play offs on Sunday. PL Division will all play each other three times through, and the winner will be determined on points. The teams who are highlighted in a different color are the teams who have ed to confirm they would like to pay for an umpire. 9 First Aid: Cairns Netball has provided a First Aid trainer who can also strap. Joc Turner will be at the courts on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. You must provide your own strapping tape and it is at no cost to be strapped She will also be the point of call for any injuries that occur over the course of the weekend Masseuse: Ricardo will be at the courts on Saturday pm & Sunday pm to massage anyone who needs it. The cost is $8 for 10mins. Facilities: We have showers at the courts so people can utilize to go from the courts to after parties, marlins home game etc. Canteen is stocked! With yummy food all weekend; pasta, sushi, salad wraps, fruit salad, hot chips, dim sims, treats, coffee and lots more. And of course ALCOHOL!! And the usual Slushies! Tents: We have tents available for teams out of town (do not live in Cairns) please admin@cairnsnetball.net.au if you would like to reserve one. We just ask if you can assist us to pop up on Friday and put down at the end of the carnival. All Cairns Teams you are more than welcome to come and put up from Friday. Please ensure you have tent pegs or sand bags so they don t blow away.
