12 ROSEBERY GUN CLUB Saturday 28 th November am Start Event T DB Reuben Abblitt Ron Ward Memorial $50.00 $50.00 High Gun LJV $35.00 KNOW THE RULES Rule 2.04(a) Club Management and Secretaries are instructed that at the end of a day the Management must immediately re-handicap each and every shooter who, for any of the reasons prescribed in the ACTA Handicapping Formula, qualified for any movement of his handicap. Such adjustments are to strictly conform with the handicapping formula. No shooter is to be permitted to compete in another event should he refuse to accept his new mark or grade. Rule 2.04(b) If some clerical error appears on a shooters handicap card, it is the shooter s responsibility to have the mistake corrected and to shoot off the correct handicap mark. Rule 2.04(c) Errors and/or amendments may be corrected by the Club Secretary, a member of the Executive Committee of the ACTA, Rule Supervisors or the State or Zone Handicapper. Rule 2.04(d) Correction to errors and amendments must be ruled out and signed with the correction or amendment clearly visible. Correction fluid or the likes of are not permitted to be used. Smoke-free areas in Tasmania From 1 st March 2012 the following became law Smoking not permitted within 20 meters of competition, seating or marshaling areas at outdoor sports grounds while a sporting event is being conducted. This includes all sporting events, irrespective of the type of ground. It includes the period 30 minutes before and after the sporting event. It does not include informal or impromptu sporting activities. Think before you light up - Smoke-free areas protect the people around you from harmful second-hand smoke. They also help stop children from thinking they too should smoke. Under the Public Health Act 1997, these areas have been introduced over many years and have contributed to a drop in people who smoke in Tasmania.
