1 Monday, July 27, 2015 Kingman County Activity Center, Kingman, KS SALE ORDER - Awards, Swine, Purple Ribbon Foods, Beef, Goats, Sheep 5:30 p.m. - Buyers Appreciation Meal, South Room of the Activity Center Sponsored by: Mize and Company, Kingman, KS 6:30 p.m. - Premium & Purple Ribbon Food Auction. NEW this year Buyers and Add-on Contributors will need to pick up an auction number. Please find sign-up table when you arrive. Purchasing a premium - As in the past, all bidding will be done on the premium to be paid. A premium is financial support to the 4-H exhibitor above and beyond the market value of the animal. Bidders will only bid on the amount of the total premium (in dollars per head) for each animal. The Premium Buyer will write a check for the premium to be paid to the exhibitor. For example => Owe $350 for the premium. Add-on - This is an opportunity for you to support one or numerous 4-H ers by providing them with additional money. You may choose to do an add-on for a specific 4-H er, specie, or to all 4-H ers participating in the sale. For example, you may ask that an additional $50 be added to the Freddy 4-H ers check, or to have $20 added to all the checks of all the 4-H ers selling a steer in the premium sale. You may also add-on to any of the purple ribbon food sellers in the same fashion. Purple Ribbon Foods - New this year, the foods will be added into the regular rotation of the premium sale. When you purchase the premium for Purple Ribbon Foods, you will receive the freshly made food product! We are certain that you will not be disappointed in your Purple Ribbon Food purchase! Cookies for College Cookie Jars - The Cookies for College Scholarship Program is in its 11th year. This is a fundraising venture with all proceeds going towards scholarships for graduating 4-H seniors. Buying a Cookies for College Cookie Jar is not only a chance to try some great cookies, but it is an opportunity to invest in the future of the 4-H ers! This event is sponsored by the Kingman County 4-H Foundation. Also sold will be an Endowment Jar and the funds from that specific jar will be used to build an Endowment Scholarship in our county. Please make checks payable to: Kingman County Fair Association. See cashier s table before you leave. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING KINGMAN COUNTY 4-H ERS!
