State Validation personnel are going across the State and making spot checks in all species to make sure validated animals are in the County at their proper location and that all validation tags and papers match the animals under the designated exhibitors name. It is ok to go out of county to have hooves or hair trimmed but animals are not to be out of exhibitors care for more than 48 hours as stated by State Validation guidelines. If you plan on leaving the county for animals to be trimmed, please let me and/or the validation chairman know prior to leaving the county. Your cooperation is appreciated.
