Judging Is Coming Soon!! Call the Extension Office to Sign Up Livestock Judging Learn live animal evaluation of cattle, swine, sheep, and goats. You do not have to show animals to participate. Grass Judging Learn to identify 73 different grass and their characteristics. Soil Judging Learn soil types, structure and about erosion. All judging projects are great learning experiences where youth participate as teams. It is ok to go out of county to have hooves or hair trimmed, but animals are not to be out of exhibitors care for more than 48 hours as stated by State Validation guidelines. If you plan on leaving the county for animals to be trimmed, please let me and/or the validation chairman know prior to leaving the county. Your cooperation is appreciated.
