Welcome to the Neilson Cattle Company Annual Bull Sale, on March 18th, at the ranch located on Highway 47, south of Willowbrook, Saskatchewan. This is the twenty-ninth year that Mike and Joanne have been producing and marketing high quality Charolais two-year-old bulls. This sale is one of the few opportunities to go through and select two-year-old Charolais bulls. These prospects, late spring/early summer born, were designed to be marketed as twos and never picked over. The bulls are grass raised, as they are pastured through the spring into fall and then supplemented with a high roughage diet. Because these bulls run in large fields and combined with a growing diet soundness and longevity along with the performance factor make selecting a sire or sires an easy choice. Two-year-old bulls will cover more ground, breed more cows and come in after breeding season in better shape. The bulls have plenty of hair (something we all needed this past winter), lots of shape and testicle. Mike and Joanne try to select a high-quality sire each year to offer new genetics for their customers. Each sire in the program has his own individual traits to excel, but the trait which is highly prevalent is performance, what the Charolais Breed is noted for! For those who have been in a sale barn during the past six months, you would have seen Char-cross calves top the market place by price and weight. Using Charolais is a no-brainer as the sale barns and the feeders are prepared to spend more money to own them. The terms of the sale are cash or cheque, payable at par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made; no invoicing on buyers in attendance, unless previous arrangements have been made. Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in cases of disputes, the auctioneer s decision will be final. Current exchange rates will be announced sale day. All monies are in Canadian funds. Bidding... Each animal will sell to the highest bidder... no by-bidding will be permitted. Disputes - Bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in dispute. If no further bidding is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid. The auctioneer s decision on all disputes will be final. Announcements... All announcements made from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay close attention to such disclosures. Breeder s Guarantee... Each animal becomes the purchaser s risk immediately after the animal is sold. All animals in this sale will be sold under the terms and guarantees set forth by the Canadian Charolais Association with regards to health, freedom from defects and from both reproductive and specific genetic unsoundness. Certificate of Registration... Each animal will carry papers issued by the Canadian Charolais Association. A certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer for each animal after payment has been made. Phone, Mail, Wire Bids... Bidders unable to attend the sale may phone, mail, wire or use dlms internet bidding with their bids and instructions to the sale managers, auctioneer or special representatives. Bids must be received in sufficient time prior to the sale. Delivery... Neilson Cattle Company will assist with delivery arrangements. Bulls can be boarded free until April 15. After April 15, bulls will be charged $5/day. We encourage bull pickup on sale day. Liabilities... All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The seller, facility owner and sale manager assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur. It is understood that T Bar C Cattle Co.(2013) Ltd. is acting only as a medium between buyer and seller and is not responsible for any failure on the part of either party to live up to his obligations. Neither does T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of any monies between parties and any legal action that may in exceptional cases be taken must be between the buyer and the seller. T Bar C Cattle Co. (2013) Ltd. assumes no responsibility for any credit extended by the seller to the buyer.
