9 Race Entry Pack Collection (REPC) During REPC, runners will collect: THIS fflciceii IS - YOUR Gfllll BAG (I]IOOO Race Bib & Timing Chip You are required to write your Emergency Contact's name and contact phone number on the reverse of your bib in the space provided. Your Emergency Contact person must NOT be racing. Your timing chip will be fixed to the reverse of your bib. Gear Bag This is the transparent bag you will receive to deposit your belongings at the start line and collect post-race. The provided gear bag is the ONLY bag that will be accepted on race morning. Gear Bag Sticker Official Under Armour Running Singlet You are required to fix the gear bag sticker to the front of the gear bag in the space indicated. You will receive the size ordered during time of online registration. Sizes cannot be changed upon collection. PLUS! Goodie Bag & Promotional Items Toyota Ekiden Team Check-In Only one of the Ekiden Team runners is required to collect the race pack items on behalf of the team. Team Members will NOT be able to collect items individually. In addition to each Ekiden runner's individual bib, all teams will also receive an Ekiden Sash with a timing device. This sash will be the 'baton' passed between team runners at each change over zone. It is important that all Ekiden Team information is up to date at completion of check-in. Changes can be made up to 16 Nov 2018 by contacting singaporeinfo@ironman.com. Any changes after this time will need to be made in person at REPC. Please allow time for this when collecting your race pack. Timing Information You will collect you race bib with disposable timing chip fixed to the reverse of the bib at REPC. The letter on the bib represents your start pen. Do not fold, cut or alter your race bib in any way. Ensure you complete the emergency contact and medical information on the back of your bib. Do not remove the timing device from your bib. Make sure you run over the timing mats as opposed to beside them to give the timing technology the best chance of recording your time. Your Race Bib HOW TO GET TO MARINA BAY SANDS CONVENTION CENTRE Race Entry Pack Collection [REPC) will be held at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre, Halls B & C, 1 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore DRIVING There are three car park entry points at Marina Bay Sands: South Entrance on Bayfront Link North Entrance on Bayfront Avenue Entrance at Hotel Tower 3 BUS SERVICE 97,106,518,133,502 [everyday) and 97E, 502A, 518A (except on Sat, Sun & public holidays) Bus Stop Marina Bay Sands MICE [outside Sands Expo & Convention Centre, opposite Hotel Lobby Tower 1) Bus Stop Opp Marina Bay Sands MICE [Opp Sands Expo & Convention Centre, adjacent to Hotel Lobby Tower 1) TAXI If travelling to Marina Bay Sands via the Ayer Rajah Expressway [AYE). Central Expressway [CTE) or Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway [KPE), connect at the Marina Coastal Expressway [MCE) which links directly to Marina Boulevard and Central Boulevard, and from there to Bayfront Avenue and Sheares Avenue. There are four pick-up/drop-off points for cars and taxis: on Sheares Link outside Hotel Lobby Tower 1, and along Bayfront Avenue outside Hotel Lobby Tower 3, outside Sands Expo & Convention Centre, and outside The Shoppes. You must pin your race bib to the front of your shirt/singlet with the safety pins provided, or use a running belt. Your race bib has a letter from A to G on it. This indicates your start pen. You must assemble at the appropriate pen on race day. No changes will be allowed. It is illegal for another person to race under your name, or for you to race under another person's name. This is strictly prohibited for a number of reasons, but most importantly is the danger and confusion it will impose in the event of an incident during the race. The information you provided during the registration process included your emergency contact person and your medical information. In the event of an emergency, you will be treated according to those details by our medical staff and emergency services. Incorrect information will lead to distress from your emergency contact person, and will waste the valuable time of medical and emergency staff. Racing under another person's name will result in suspension from participating in IRON MAN owned and managed events. Travelling from Changi Airport? 31 Medical Medical Your safety is of utmost importance to us. If you are unsure about your ability to complete the race, or feeling unwell prior to the event, it is highly recommended that you seek medical advice from your doctor. Medical personnel are easily identifiable wearing red shirts. Start Line The Athlete's Village at the F1 Pit Building will have medical personnel in position to provide any basic pre-race assistance. During the Race There will be static medical posts located approximately every 2km along the race course. Each location will be staffed with a range of medical personnel to offer you basic assistance. There are also a number of medical professionals on motorbikes, bicycles, buggies and ambulances along the course to provide assistance should you require it during your race. In addition to these support services, there are also larger medical facilities located at The Marina Barrage [approximately 23km & 36km) & Tanjong Rhu Cross [approximately 33km) areas. Race Finish Medical teams will be located through the finish precinct. Upon finishing your race, there are two main medical facilities you will be able to access if you are feeling unwell or injured. You will be able to find these along the finish chute towards the F1 pit building after you cross the footbridge. Locating a family member of runner receiving medical assistance If you are seeking information on a runner's whereabouts or a runner receiving medical attention, you should proceed to the information point located in the Athlete's Village at F1 in the start precinct. Medical Costs All medical care provided by the medical team on site during Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon is free of charge. Any admission to hospital or treatment provided by medical services other than the event medical team, will incur costs to the participant.
