We look forward to our partnership and hope to create an effective fundraising avenue for your charity. The OC Marathon helped charities raise close to $5.5 million dollars in total for non-profit organizations since The OC Marathon Charity Partner Program provides fundraising resources, marketing opportunities, complimentary race entries for charity staff and more. A note to our returning charities, The OC Marathon Charity Partner Program is seeing big changes in Should any changes not be within your scope of interest, please contact us and we d be happy to make arrangements. We love our dedicated charity partners and couldn t do the race without you. We recognize your devotion and want to honor it by making accomodations that work within your charitiy s best interest. We ve created this booklet to breakdown the new program and help you understand multiple opportunities given in the OC Marathon Charity Partner Program. 3 NUMBERS 1,745 total number indivdual donations to OC Marathon Charity Partners in 2018 The 2018 OC Marathon Running Festival hosted a total of fourteen thousand participants from the Wahoo s OC 5k and the SDCCU OC Marathon and Half Marathon. average donation per person in 2018 (Crowd Rise average is $79 site wide) The Festival includes three days of the OC Lifestyle and Fitness expo where 80 vendors participate to create an exciting atmosphere for runners and their friends and families. The 2018 Charity Partner Program had 30 participating charities. Each Charity Partner had a booth space in the Charity Village located near the races finish lines, where thousands of finishers were able to explore after their race. $ $500,000 average amount raised for each charity through OC Marathon registration pages in 2018 total number of Run for Free participants in those who register for free with a fundraising commitment to one of our Charity Partners dollars raised in 2018 OC Marathon Charity Partner Program The 2019 OC Marathon Charity Partner Program will welcome a maximum of 40 participating charities. We are eager to help charities raise a total $750,000 for Help us reach those goals by being a participating charity for the 2019 OC Marathon Charity Partner Program!

4 REQUIREMENTS CHARITY LEVELS The OC Marathon LLC. is proud to announce its new Charity Levels for 2019! We love to Ride the Wave in the OC and want our charities to join the ride with our new Charity Levels. Must be 501(c)3 non-profit organization Longboarder When you re not quite ready to be the wave, you can ride the wave as a Longboarder Charity Partner. This levels gives you the opportunity to fundraise, volunteer and gain exposure. You get a fundraising page on First Giving, presence on the all-new OC Marathon website and a volunteer station at the race. Pipeline Pay upfront participation deposit - $500 per charity Pipeline Charity Partners are first level OC Marathon Charity Partners who get Run for Free runners to fundraise for their charity. Purchase a minimum of 15 discounted bibs to motivate runners to create a fundraising page on First Giving for your charity. Set your runners fundraising minimums, recruit volunteers for your water station, receive a complimentary booth at Charity Village and much more! Maverick Recruit minimum of 25 volunteers for race weekend - each charity receives $20 rebate per volunteer, which covers participation deposit Chase Mavericks as a second level OC Marathon Charity Partner. Buy a minimum of 25 discounted bibs for your fundraising runners. Set your runners fundraising minimums, get donations from the OC Marathon website, recruit volunteers for your water station, receive a complimentary booth at our Charity Village and much more! Tsunami Tsunami Charities come in strong as our top-tier, third level OC Marathon Charity Partner. You receive the upmost exposure on the OC Marathon website, OC Marathon registration donations, blasts, social media posts and the Runner Spectator guide race weekend. Please make checks out to the OC Marathon LLC. Set up Fundraising Page - Longboarders may set up fundraising page on FirstGiving. com/2019ocmarathon to receive donations, but will not have Run for Free runners fundraising for them Recruit Volunteers - Bring minimum of 25 volunteers for race weekend.
