Pete s life was about family and friends and it was about running. The depth of his impact on the running community was visible at the Run for Pete on March 20 th and in the hundreds of mourners at his calling hours and funeral. Visit to see how you can contribute in his memory. Pete had a vision for GVH and running in Rochester. All of us in GVH now need to commit to carry this forward. We need to plan and help at races, create an atmosphere to develop talent, encourage new runners, and above all sustain the joy of competition. If you ve been running in races with a GVH singlet you are representing the team. You really should have paid your 2010 dues by now! The dues provide important operating funds for the club in order to cover pre-race expenses for events we sponsor and also to help support our elite athletes. This will be the last year that GVH will offer both full year and just Fall memberships. Starting in 2011 there will only be full year memberships. If you are getting the benefits of GVH all year this year, why not do the right thing and pay your full year membership starting in 2010!
