Gear on bike, behind front wheel of bike or in TransiTon Bin. Once racked in TransiTon, bike cannot be removed untl competon begins. COMPLETE LOOP: 2.5K USAT YOUTH ELITE: 1 LOOP USAT JUNIOR ELITE & CAMTRI: 2 LOOPS SUPERSPRINT: 1 LOOP AMATEUR YOUTH 7-10: 1/2 LOOP AMATEUR YOUTH 11-15: 1 LOOP 10 Junior Swim Course 750M (1 Lap) Course Clockwise 1 Lap (buoys on right). Turn at second set of yellow buoys ader bridge. Athletes receive swim cap and chip at swim start. Line up on sidewalk. Move into water for start (waist deep). Take Your Mark! - Air horn starts race. Water temperature: 68F/ 20C

Athletes receive swim cap and chip at swim start. Line up on sidewalk. Move into water for start (waist deep). Take Your Mark! - Air horn starts race. Water temperature: 68F/ 20C Junior Bike Course 20K = 4 Laps Wheel Pit located on Highwoods Pkwy near TransiTon (Drop off well- marked wheels at Athlete Lounge before TransiTon closes prior to your race. Wheels will not be accepted at Wheel Pit.) Lap Out / Overlap rule in effect. Youth Bike Course 10K = 2 Laps Wheel Pit located on Highwood Pkwy near TransiTon. Outbound on right side of road. Aid StaTons with sports drink and water on the course. Begin second lap before entrance to parking lot. Penalty Box located at 180 turn around near TransiTon. Finish line just beyond run course turn around (near TransiTon) Youth Run Course 2.5K = 1 Laps Counter clockwise path. Outbound on right side of road. 8 Uniform & Aero Bars Uniform must cover torso Clip- on aerobars may not extend beyond brake levers Aerobars must be touching or joined both with solid standard factory bridge at forward most point Bar- end plugs in place Helmet Athletes must wear undamaged, unaltered protectve head cover (helmet) Must meet or exceed safety standards of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Clearly labeled by the manufacturer as satsfying such standards (original stcker in place) No aero helmets allowed

11 Lap Out Rule in Effect PenalTes Yellow Card Stop and Go verbal warning Time Penalty :10 seconds for early start / :10 seconds for others Served in TransiTon or Penalty Box Red Card Disqualified Athlete s who receive the Red Card may complete the race, except for those athletes who are lapped out Penalty Box PenalTes not served in TransTon will be served in Penalty Box. Penalty Box located prior run back in to park. Bib number will be wrinen on white board at Penalty Box. Procedure: IdenTfy yourself; Official will start Tming penalty; Must remain in Penalty Box entre Tme; May not receive any outside assistance while serving penalty; Official will let you know when your Tme is served. PenalKes not served will result in disqualificakon. Check the Penalty Board!

12 Protest or Appeal: Protest: Athlete may file a Protest with Lead Official provided has not been previously observed by Officials and ruled upon. Protest is filed against the conduct of an athlete, an athlete s equipment, an Official, or the conditons of the competton. Appeal: An Appeal is a request for review of a decision made by Officials or the CompeTTon Jury. 45 Protest or Appeal: Generally, Protests or Appeals must follow these steps: 1. NoTfy Lead Official of intent to submit a Protest or Appeal within 5 minutes of finish Tme. 2. Lead Official will provide appropriate form for athlete to complete. 3. The completed Protest or Appeal form must be submined to Lead Official no more than 15 minutes ader athlete s finish Tme. A deposit of $50 USD must accompany the Protest or Appeal form. 46 Protest or Appeal: Protests or Appeals are reviewed by the Lead Official and the CompeTTon Jury. All decisions on Appeals are final.
