Th dsignd softwar can also usd for monitoring of xisting hybrid wind disl ngin systm. Visual basic- 6 softwar is usd for writing th program to dsign wind mill of particular location and Photoshop softwar is usd to built th modl hybrid wind disl systm. Th dsignd softwar rsults ar carrid out followd with xprimntal data to alidat th analysis. Introduction Th qust for powr is an intgral part of human xistnc in th prsnt day as it is closly intrconnctd to th standard of liing of th populac. Furling spd (V F : corrsponds to high wind spds during which th turbin cass to gnrat powr and is shut down. Th wind spd at which th shut down occurs is also calld as cut-out spd and is th safty fatur which protcts wind turbin from damag. Slcting a ratd wind spd V R is an important part of wind turbin dsign. This slction basically dtrmins cut-in spd and also imposs crtain constraints on furling spd. Th instmnt in turbin will b proportional to turbin ara so maximizing arag powr will minimiz cost/unit of nrgy producd. If ratd spd is chosn too low, it will los nrgy in highr wind. If ratd spd is too high, th turbin will sldom oprat at capacity and will los much of nrgy in lowr wind spd. Aftr ntring th input data of any locality, run th softwar by clicking a grn arrowhad button, which is positiond at top right cornr of th softwar modul.
