In it, playrs could choos among 35 diffrnt tams from ovr th world (pr- USA 94 countris) to lad thm to glory, to th world cup. Playing through singl playr will unlock cards that you can us to modify th stats of your tam or som of your playrs or vn how th moral of your playrs changs ovr th gam.

Sprinting and dribbling As said bfor, ths actions rduc th stamina, so th playr should dcid whr to xpnd this valuabl rsourc. Short and long passs Short passs ar th basic action whn attacking, and thr is littl chang for th opponnt to stal th ball. Long passs covr mor trrain, but thy r mor difficult to control. On-Two pass Th playr maks a normal pass, thn h sprints towards th goal and automatically bcoms th nxt pass targt. Wll xcutd, th playr could go forward with two footballrs chaining on pass aftr anothr. Shoot Th playr prss and hold th shoot button and chargs th nrgy with which h wants th shoot to go.

9 Shot on goal Th playr can prform a quick shot aftr a pass, just by prssing th button whil th ball is travlling towards d rcivr. Cntr In th ara nar th cornr, th playr will hav th chang to cntr towards a playr in th ara. If th playr prsss th shoot button at th right tim, th rcivr will prform an astounding bicycl kick or a hadr to goal. But th playr also must avoid th rival s play. H could achiv that with th following actions: Chang playr with this action, focus chang from a playr to th narst to th ball, considring also th lft stick s dirction. (Whr dos th playr want his avatar to mov whn th focus changs) Shov Th playr tris to stal th ball clanly from a clos rival. Although th rfr is unlikly to whistl, if th playr can not actually stal th ball, th opponnt will gain a littl boost. Tackl Th playr slids towards th playr who owns th ball. Th rfr is mor likly to whistl (Espcially if th tackl is mad from bhind) but staling th ball is almost assurd. Intrcption If a playr is in th way btwn a pass, h has a chanc to stal th ball.

Of cours thr ar plnty of bugs still laying around too, but that s to b xpctd from an Alpha. Singl playr is compltly missing too. Bta-1: March, 15th, W ar (probably) going to hav 2 diffrnt btas: on for Switch and on for th rmaining platforms. Th Switch bta will com first bcaus w r not planning on adding onlin multiplayr to that platform. This bta should hav th gam finishd but thr may still b bugs. Th gam will not b localizd yt (only to English and Spanish). First Rlas Candidat Switch: April, 15th, In ordr to rlas bfor th world cup w d nd to hav th first rlas candidat ntr lotchck for Nintndo Switch by mid April. This would obviously hav all faturs (xcpt onlin multiplayr) and it should b localizd to EFIGS. Also dvloping onlin multiplayr with this gam should b asy (only 1vs1 gams) and th cod could also b shard btwn projcts (not only th Animal Soccr on but also Supr Toy Cars 2 for instanc). Finally, w thought this gam could mak som mony that would hlp us fund th nxt gam. So, how many comptitors ar thr in th markt for an arcad football gam on consols? Wll, lss than you would xpct. If you go to th sports sction of th Xbox On gams you ar going to hav a hard tim finding football (soccr) gams in thr bsids PES and FIFA. Th only othr gam I v managd to find is Activ Soccr 2 DX which is a top-down soccr gam. Thr ar actually vry fw arcad sports gams thr. Going to th PS4 stor givs you xactly th sam rsults. It s actually asir to find a varity of fishing gams than football gams.

Summarizing, thr ar vry fw gams in th soccr arcad dpartmnt. Now, is thr a nich in th markt for that typ of gams? Lt s start by addrssing th lphant in th room first: FIFA and PES ar filling that nich, arn t thy? Wll, if w wr doing a simulator th answr would b dfinitly ys, but w r trying to diffrntiat ourslvs by doing a mor arcad So, how many comptitors ar thr in th markt for an arcad football gam on consols? Wll, lss than you would xpct. gam. Our thm (th football of th 70s and th 80s), th art styl (stylizd charactrs, ovr th top animations), and th fast gamplay (visibl in th vidos) should hlp diffrntiat us nough. Ok, so th nxt qustion is whthr thr s a markt for that typ of gams. W bliv thr dfinitly is. Activ Soccr 2 DX is a mobil port to consols and yt on Xbox On in th US it has nar 200 rviws (which is way mor than many othr gams rlasd at th sam tim) and only 2.5 stars (out of 5). If you look at th numbrs of Kopanito in Stamspy you can s mor than 73k usrs and 65k playrs which is a good numbr (bttr than Supr Toy Cars which was our bst hit so far). Othr soccr gams hav rasonabl numbrs, at last thos in th <$10 pric rang. Th avrag sals of ths gams is bttr than othr gnrs (i RPGs) whr low budgt gams hav a hard tim slling a fw copis only. Also, as a rfrnc, NBA Playgrounds did a similar thing with basktball (but with an important IP) and w bliv it s sold rasonably wll, particularly in consols. Thr s anothr on vry similar plannd for 2018 (Dunk Lords) and it sms thr s room nough for vryon thr. I don t s why wouldn t that b possibl with football which is, by th way, th most playd sport in th world. risks Tchnical Risks At this point thr s almost no tchnical risk lft to addrss sinc th gam is alrady up and running and it plays wll. It dfinitly still nds twaking and balancing but from a tchnical point of viw thr s no risk worth mntioning. Production Risks Tight dadlins (for th Switch): Aiming to gt th gam bfor th World Cup has forcd us to st som quit tight dadlins for th Switch which w may or may not hit. Localization to Arabic and Chins: W hav had som convrsations with popl with xprinc in th sports gams (for mobil) and thy v said Chins and Arabic may b worth localizing but w v nvr localizd to thos languags and it may bring unxpctd problms, particularly in consols (du to th fonts) whr w may nd to hav diffrnt xcutabls to kp th cool fonts in EFIGS and othr xcutabls for Arabic/Chins whr th fonts support thos languags. Markting Risks Diffrntiating th product: Evn though as w discussd bfor w bliv th product is diffrnt nough from FIFA and PES, w may nd to focus th markt on thos diffrncs and nsur thy r wll undrstood. Thr s not a nich for this typ of gams: Sinc thr ar vry fw gams lik this in th markt thr is th possibility that thr rally is no nich for this typ of gams. W bliv thr is, but this risk is still lurking thr. Our lack of xprinc with markting in gnral: W actually hav don a poor job of markting our gams so far. W r going to try to improv that but I m not sur w r rally going to hit th right nots.
