First-ever guided tour integrating Buddhist learning and hiking to provide guests with an enlightening journey Ngong Ping 360 is pleased to announce the launch of the 360 Buddhist Walk, offered through its wholly licenced tour operator, 360 Holidays. The walk offers guests the opportunity to take part in an enlightening and historical exploration of Ngong Ping s Buddhist monasteries and related attractions, together with a gentle stroll to enjoy the scenery. With advice from veteran Buddhists, the walk s itinerary has been designed to take in areas of significant historical and aesthetic value. The two-hour excursion includes a Ngong Ping Cable Car ride, a visit to the Big Buddha and the Grand Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas, a stroll through Dongshan Famen and on the Wisdom Path, and refreshment at Po Lin Monastery. Led by professional tour guides offering historical allusions and interesting stories, participants can enjoy an enlightening experience. The 360 Buddhist Walk offers a unique opportunity for participants to witness the most sacred item of Buddhism Buddha s Relic, the cremated ashes of the sacred Buddha up close in the exhibition hall inside the pedestal of the Big Buddha. With its mainly flat route, the tour is suitable for anyone. A tour coach even saves participants the effort of climbing 268 steps, taking them up to the pedestal in comfort. All Hong Kong residents aged 65 1 or over can eligible to purchase a one-way or round-trip Standard Cabin Cable Car ticket for just HK$20 throughout the month (except on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays). They can also choose a privileged upgrade offer for an additional HK$20, which can be used for a one-way or round-trip Crystal Cabin ride or for admission to Stage 360, Motion 360 or Walking with Buddha (guests can choose more than one upgrade offer at a time). They can also upgrade to the 360 Buddhist Walk for an additional HK$60. These offers not only help our older citizens have an enjoyable day out, but also help them to demonstrate their vitality by experiencing one of the world s most amazing cable car rides. Additionally, they can also receive a wide range of special offers from most Ngong Ping Village tenants. For example, Ngong Ping Garden Restaurant offers a 20% discount for in-restaurant dining and a complimentary barbecued pork bun. Wo Kee Loong Gifts Shop offers 15% off any purchase of HK$50 or above.
