SnowboardingAthleteoftheYear ChloeKim(Torrence,CA) Atjust15yearsold,ChloeKimhasnotchedhernameinthehalfpipesnowboardinghistory booksandcontinuestoprogressthesport.kim saccoladesincludebeingtheyoungestfemale tostompbacktoback1080 sinacontest,earningthreeconsecutivexgamesgoldsandbeing theyoungestcompetitorinxgameshistorytowinagoldmedal(2015).kimwoneverymajor eventin2016,includewinningtheyoutholympicwintergamesinbothhalfpipeandslopestyle. AlpineDomesticCoachoftheYearAward RobWorrell(Vail,CO) RobWorrellisaformerUSSAcompetitorandlongtimeprofessionalcoachwhobeganhiscareer inestespark,colorado.he sheldpositionsatsummitcountyskiteam,crestedbutteacademy and Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club. He is currently the head U16 coach at Ski & SnowboardClubVail.TheU16programthatRobisresponsibleforhashadanunprecedented levelofsuccess.ofthe22u16athletesfromtherock/centralregionthatqualifiedforthe2016 U16 National Championships, 16 are from the U16 program that Rob is responsible for. 7 USSACLUBSOFTHEYEAR AdaptiveCluboftheYear AspenValleySkiandSnowboardClub AspenValleySkiandSnowboardClub(AVSC)didanincrediblejoborganizingandhostingthe U.S.AdaptiveAlpineSpeedNationalChampionshipsandtheIPCAlpineWorldCupFinalsthis season.additionally,theclubplacedthreeathletesfortheirprogramontheu.s.paralympics AlpineNationalTeamthisseason.Oneofthem,ThomasWalsh,wentontowintwoIPCWorld Cupraces.Nineofthe16athletesontheNationalTeamtrainwithAVSC. AlpineCluboftheYear Ski&SnowboardClubVail Ski&SnowboardClubVail(SSCV)programscontinuedtoseesuccessthisyear.FortheU16 NationalChampionships,SSCVqualified16ofthe22qualificationsspots.Theyalsoqualified twoathletesforthefisjuniorworldchampionships.athleteriverradamus,whowasonthe U.S.Skiteam sdevelopmentteamthisseason,wonthreegoldmedalsattheyoutholympic Games.VailcoachRobWorrellisreceivingUSSA salpinedomesticcoachoftheyearaward,.
