Chesapeake Explorer: This free app from the NaƟonal Park Service pulls together informaɵon about naɵonal and state parks, trails and historic sites around the bay and its sixstate watershed. It can idenɵfy parks and trails that are close to a user's locaɵon and helps users idenɵfy sites that mesh with their interests, such as biking, camping or bird-watching. 5. NOAA Smart Buoys: Developer NOAA Chesapeake Bay Oĸ ce Available on: itunes, Google Play Looking for real-ɵme, on-the-water observaɵons from across the Chesapeake Bay? The NOAA Chesapeake Bay Oĸ ce s Smart Buoys app allows users to track data from the ten buoys that make up the Chesapeake Bay InterpreƟve Buoy System (CBIBS). Get a snapshot of safety condiɵons in the Bay before heading out on the water, explore the science behind the health of the estuary or track how storms and weather events are aī ecɵng water condiɵons. Harbour Cove has a live feed on our website of Herring Bay. Check out the current before you head out on your boat.
