2 CONCEPT Kite Masterclass is a highly specialised training event open to a group of about 32 riders, specially selected young people, between 12 and 19 years old, who hope to become high-level athletes on the international kitesurfing scene. Programme. There will be two Master Classes of 16 students each, one dedicated to freestyle with special Coach Ruben Lenten and one dedicated to TT: R. The aim of this Masterclass is to give the opportunity to selected young people to improve their technique in some of the main disciplines of kitesurfing either TT: R and freestyle and to allow the two best students from each class, chosen from men and women, to win a scholarship that will offer them the opportunity to invest in their sporting future and to experience new and useful opportunities.

3 The masterclass will last a week during which the two classes will follow a hard and intensive training programme set by their coach. For the freestyle group the choice of the two winners will be made through a series of competitions organized in the last two days which will allow the two athletes who have distinguished themselves throughout the week, who will be awarded the scholarship, to be chosen As regards the TT: R class, the decision on the two winners will take place during the running of the important international competition "TT: R Open World Championships", which will take place from 25 to 29 July in the same location. On the occasion of this very important event, the best ranked among the 16 participants in the TT: R Kite Master, will have the opportunity to win the much soughtafter scholarship.

4 LOCATION The Kite Masterclass will take place at the Hang Loose Sailing Club which has its headquarters at the Hang Loose Beach sports park. The students will stay inside the village in the well known Volkswagen tent area, complete with all home comforts, which can accommodate up to 38 students. The area is equipped with everything necessary for accommodation, large areas of shade, dedicated services. The training and sports venue is completed with a restaurant, pizzeria, bar; a large sports park, consisting of beach volley court, mini basketball court, skate park, sup, canoes, catamarans and sailing boats. To make the context perfect, there is a constant thermal wind that blows from April to September with an strength of more than 15 knots. This venue has been recognized for years as one of the best spots on the international scene, not only thanks to high wind rates, but also thanks to its safety. Wide beaches without obstacles and a wind side-on-shore will allow you to practice this beautiful sport in safety.
