1 ATZQ-ATB-LS (385-10b) MEMORANDUM FOR SEE DISTRIBUTION SUBJECT: th Aviation Regiment Monthly Inspection of Training Areas (MITA) (AO Vanguard) 1. The Monthly Inspection of Training Area (MITA) Report for AO Vanguard is attached. It is effective as of the above date. It provides the current operational status (and associated hazards) of the remote training sites, TAC sites, landing strips, and stage fields utilized by the 1-212th Aviation Regiment. It supersedes and incorporates information from all previous th MITA s. 2. Report hazards or discrepancies in any training area to the 1-212th Aviation Hazards Map Coordinator VIA at or by phone after 1700L th Standards will publish an updated MITA monthly. New or changed information is indicated by BOLD print. 4. LDG HDG annotated with asterisks (*) are required landing/takeoff directions (normally due to noise sensitive areas). All other LDG HDGs are recommended. The PC has final authority for safe aircraft operations. 5. Training site utilization/authorization codes are D for day use, N for night aided or unaided use, and S for solo flight. 6. This memo has the official noise avoidance and sensitive listings IAW Fort Rucker The Battalion Commander/S-3 directs all other noise avoidance/sensitive areas. If a new noise avoidance/sensitive location develops between MITA updates, notify your company safety officer to request a NOTAM from DPTMSEC (Airspace). 7. The current FORT RUCKER FORM 1891 is dated FEB Add the following phone numbers to the back: BN OPS (Lowe) / /4157 (Shell), BN SAFETY / , Initial Responder UH-60 roll-on landings are prohibited in all RTs. 9. In addition to Fort Rucker basefield/stagefield facilities and the Dothan airport, EPT may be conducted at any authorized landing sites that have been approved for EPT after a risk assessment has been completed and approved IAW the USAACE risk management policy. 10.
