2 HISTORY & BACKGROUND WELCOME TO BLACK ROCKS BOARDRIDERS CLUB Pottsville Beach In 2017, a group of local surfers, family and community members came together to launch BRBC. We knew there was a strong demand to bring the surfing community together but we had no idea of just how strong that demand was. From a standing start, we went on to attracting 243 paying members to our club, which is one of the largest in Australia. As a club, we are looking to continually evolve and develop our unique familyfriendly, noncompetitive fun surfing club with the support of locals and the wider community. We are excited to work with businesses to share our passion for the ocean and the region we live in, whilst also creating a strong supportive local culture for the children of the area to develop as surfers, learn ocean skills and more in a friendly, professional boardriders club.

5 STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES 2018 To continue to strengthen our local surfing community that embraces a love of the ocean and its environment. Development and training for surf safety for local grommets. Embrace our large population of female surfers in the area. Create a safe local supportive environment for local children to surf with supervision from experienced local surfers. To not only provide a fun safe environment for all surfers, but to also implement programs that assist in the development of surfing skills.

7 HERE ARE A FEW OF THE SPECIALITY EVENTS WE HAVE RUN THROUGHOUT THE YEAR: Welcome to country opening round James Tate memorial round (which will be an annual event) Easter Round With easter hunt for kids Tag Team events where all surf club splits into teams for fun events. EDUCATION & DEVELOPMENT High Performance Development day at the HPC centre x 3 Skate session at the HPC skate facility Surf safety day for children (had Surf Life Saving Representative come and talk with kids, a trained physio on how to warm up & how to remain calm under water. Education session with Joel Slabb from the Slab Family who taught us about bush tucker and many of the local traditional stories. Surfrider foundation teaching our children about protecting the oceans. SOCIAL Fingal heads camping weekend (we will do this twice a year as was a hit) Burger Night at the Corner Stop Espresso Bar PLANNED Mothers Day Round With hot croissants & coffee for the mums with a round just for them and the children. Unfortunately cancelled due to rain.

8 YOUR BRAND EXPOSURE We have learnt a lot as a club during the last 12 months and part of that is how to work well with our sponsors. With the size of our passionate club we have a strong platform to help promote the businesses that support our club. We have over 500 followers on our FB page and a very active closed member page with over 150 members. Every month we actively promote our sponsors to our member page and in 2018 we will be pushing our sponsors out to the public page as well. We also have embraced technology via a club app that we will be using next year to actively promote your business to our members. The biggest development and opportunity for exposure is the new BRBC calendar we are printing out for our members. Sponsors will be featured on the calendar and have the opportunity to feature prominently within this calendar. Finally, sponsors will also be featured on our new BRBC club trailer. Our club is predominantly young local families (75%).
