2 Date: - Saturday, July 21 st, 2018 (Rain date: Sunday, July 22 nd, 2018) Location: - Woodbrooke Hills Swim & Tennis Club (WHSC) West 13 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI meter, six lane pool with 6 foot starting depth; deep end pool available for warm down for older swimmers - No recreational swimmers - Electronic timing system will be used for all races Parking: - Swimmer drop off available - Parking locations include o Woodbrooke Hills Reserved for handicap, officials, elderly, coaches o North Farmington High School ~1/4 mile walk; shuttles available to and from Woodbrooke Hills o o Unity Church west of Woodbrooke Hills Neighborhoods adjacent to Woodbrooke Hills Park on EAST SIDE OF STREETS ONLY police will ticket congested streets Meet Schedule: - Ending times and start time of the after session are approximate. - 7:30am - 8:45am for morning warm up - 9:00am 12:00pm All 11 & 12, 13 & 14 and year old girls and boys - Noon -1:15pm for afternoon warm up - 1:30pm 5:30pm All 8 & under and 9 & 10 year old girls and boys Entries & fee: - All registered NSSL swimmers not participating in the A Championship meet are eligible to complete in two (2) individual events. - $10 per swimmer, due upon receipt of entry, payable to WHSC - There is no limit to the number of entries allowed each team. - There are no relay events. Deadline: - EVERYTHING is due at BHAC no later than 8:00pm, Monday, July 16 th, No substitutions after submission. No deck entries. - Entries must be submitted via in Meet Manager format; see Entry Checklist Responsibilities: Each team participating must provide the following: - Certificate of insurance naming WHSC as an additional lien holder (with entries) - Volunteers, entry packet/fees & advertisements per attached forms/checklists Seeding: - Timed finals. Seeding with be slowest to fastest. - Absent swimmer and late scratches will cause open lanes and slow the meet down. Marshalling: - Only the PM session will be marshalled. - All 10 & under children must arrive on deck with their events/heats/lanes written on their hands or arms. - Each team is responsible for getting their swimmers to the marshalling area. - Marshallers will lead swimmers to their respective starting blocks then vacate area - Coaches are welcome behind the blocks Awards: - 1 st 6 th place medals; 7 th -12 th place ribbons & participation ribbons for 12+ places Concessions: - A full concession stand will be provided under the club s pavilion/tent. Hospitality: - Hospitality will be provided (coaches & officials). Safety: - Lifeguards will be on deck throughout the event. Additional Safety personnel will be located inside the club house. First Aid: - First Aid station will be located inside the club house. Admission: - $5 (children 12 & under are free). Coaches and swimmers are admitted free. Workers / Volunteers who are registered in advance are admitted free of charge. T-Shirts: - B-Finals shirts will be available for purchase at the event. Volunteers: - Check-in will be in the clubhouse. - All volunteers must sign-in no later than 15 minutes before their shift.

3 Space: - There are a limited number of picnic tables for all to use. - No large coolers please! - We request that the spectators do not reserve table space when not in use. - Blankets for lawn seating are welcome. Seating: - There will be bleachers along the south side of the pool. We ask that parents and spectators vacate the bleachers while their child is not swimming so that others may watch their swimmers. Tents: - Teams may bring tents for weather / sun protection. - Set-up for tents may begin Friday, July 20 th, 2018 between 6:00pm and 8:30pm. Meet duration: - In the event of inclement weather, no refunds will be given after the meet has begun. - All sessions will be stopped at 8:00pm, unless it is believed that it can be completed in full by 8:30pm. Programs: - $5 each. - All teams are required to provide program ready art for ads totaling a full $50. (ie, one full-page ad or two half-page ads, etc.). - These ads may be shared with program sponsors and Happy Ads to get to $50 min. Happy Ads: - ALL Happy Ads are due on Monday, July 16 th, 2018 at BHAC. Payment check for ads must be submitted with entries. See Happy Ad form. Sponsor Ads: - Sponsor ads should be submitted in black and white, no bleed leave a 0.25 margin around the artwork. See Sponsor Ad form. - Sponsor Ads are due by Monday, July 16 th, 2018 at 8:00pm. Check to WHSC per form. - File name should include the ad size within the name (ex WHSCad_halfpg.pdf) - Acceptable formats are only *.pdf. - All final artwork and paperwork should be ed to NSSLBFinals@gmail.com. Senior Bios: - Senior biographies are due by Monday, July 16 th, 2018 at 8:00pm. - Biographies should be electronic and in a *.doc format. - All bios should be no longer than 50 words and should including the following: Name & Club High school After high school plans Fondest memory of swimming for the club Senior bios should be s to NSSLBFinals@gmail.com.
