9 Details, news, clarifications SENIORS are born prior to 1959 Anyone born in or after 1959 is not a senior (yet) JUNIORS are born in or since 1991 Anyone born before1991 is not a Junior (anymore) All Players playing in any tour event must be members and pay USTSA dues Dress Code: Sportswear is required for all participants. complete details at: : Women will play in Traditional events by their Traditional Points; however, women-only points will be used for Open Mixed, Women s Doubles, Women s Singles, No-pro Women s singles, No- Pro Women s Doubles and no-pro mixed. Pro Master Women may play in pro doubles and pro singles. NEW FOR 2009 Pro-Am Doubles Must consist of either a Pro & Amateur OR a Semi-Pro & Amateur. No Masters and no 2 players of the same ranking. Pro-/Am /Am OK Semi-Pro/Am Pro/Am OK pro/semi-pro pro not OK masters not OK No Masters, or no two players of the same rank. Women will be allowed to play by their traditional points in this event. 10 International updates & news International Players Non North-American Players will not have to pay membership fees at this year s tour events. We will honor a player's home federation ranking for new international players who pre-register register prior to 21-August and provide their: ITSF Federation Name Players ITSF License Number Home Federation Rank, Series or Classification All international players must have an existing ITSF license number prior to registration. Obtain a license number through your home ITSF Federation. License numbers are provided to players by the ITSF at no cost through your home federation headquarters. Preregister, or else... Non North-american players must preregister by 21-AUGUST To receive the international player's discount and to play in Amateur events (rating verification required). International players may enter events onsite, but will not receive the discounted rate and cannot participate in amateur events. Preregistration is encouraged ITSF Team Event Members Outside of North America package deal prices are: Master $350 Pro $250 Semi-Pro $150 Amateur-$125 Discount available to all international players that preregister by 21-AUGUST. Preregistration is encouraged Equipment This event will be played on Tornado Platinum Tour Edition tables these tables will be equipped with a 3-man goalie. Going forward with the 2010 season, tables in future ITSF international and World Championship series events will be equipped with a singleman goalie

11 ITSF National Team and World Championship Qualifier events ITSF Events The World Championship Series is a sanctioned ITSF Points Race event and the top three players in Open Singles and the winners of Women s singles, 18 & Under Singles, and Senior Singles receive an expense paid trip to the ITSF Championships again this year ITSF points events at this tournament include: Open Doubles, Open Singles, Women s Doubles, Women s Singles. Junior Doubles and Singles, Senior Doubles and Singles. Start times are listed on pages 4 and 5. ITSF points race events are marked with an asterisk ( ) and wiill be Featured Matches throughout the tournament. ITSF points events will not be called after 12:00am (MIDNIGHT) National Team Composition A national team consists of 8 players (6 men and 2 women). Each team can have a maximum of 2 reserve players (1 man and 1 woman) eligible to rotate with regular team members. Each team member must have a valid passport or proof of citizenship from the country they are representing. Player changes are not allowed within 2 hours prior to an encounter. There cannot be more than 8 players listed on the scoresheet. The minimum players allowed on a team is 5. The Nations Cup is played with a system of direct elimination. A match consists of 7 points and must be won by two clear points. When two national teams meet, they play 8 matches:4 singles followed by 4 Doubles. In the event of a tie, an extra Doubles match will be played by players who have not taken part in Singles. National team members must have their country s name on their uniform.
