2 PLEASE FAMILARISE YOURSELF AND READ ALL INFORMATION For years experiments have been conducted at the MOD research institute Porters Down Dstl near Salisbury. Six months previous there was an explosion, and reports say that crazed individuals where seen fleeing the area. As we now all know from the news reports, a virus was released that day, that changed people into blood crazed Zombies intent on gorging on human flesh. Most towns and cities have fallen to the virus, and zombie hordes rampage around the countryside. Nowhere is safe! A newly formed military unit Zombie Elimination Roaming Operatives (ZERO Team aka Marshals) has set up a safe zone near Kings Park, Bournemouth. The route to this safe zone will not be easy, much of the infrastructure has been ruined. You will need to make your way through the obstacles and avoid the zombies blocking your path. ZERO team members have been seen on the route to assist as many survivors as possible. Follow the briefing and you may still survive!

3 PARKING Car parking Unfortunately, we can t offer free parking during this event. The car park for Zombie Escape is a Council run car park which is open 24 hours per day next to the AFCB Stadium.

For more info on parking please go to Arrival Time and 4 ARRIVAL ANDSchedule TIMINGS Registration One week before the race you will receive an with your wave number and timing, Registration Opens 0900 **Please arrive one hour before you wave is due to start Please come to the Registration tent with your wave number and surname. At registration, you will be issued with the following: A velcro belt with your three flags Your race number - please fill in your emergency contact details on the back. Ensure that you are ready to enter the start enclosure 5 minutes before your start time. Once you are in the enclosure you will receive a 10-minute mandatory race safety briefing. Once you have registered, you are free to browse the event village for some pre zombie refreshments & check out the course map to familiarise yourself with the route!

Wave timings **Arrive at the start enclosure 5 mins before your allocated start time Wave 1 starts at 10:30 Wave 2 starts at 10:45 Wave 3 starts at 11:00 Wave 4 starts at 11:15 Wave 5 starts at 11:30 Wave 6 starts at 11:45 Ensure you adherer to the wave number. If for any reason you need to change wave number please see a member of the registration team. 5 WARM UPS BH Live Active will be hosting our warm ups in the event village to get you ready to tackle the course and zombies! Please ensure you have warmed up before the race to ensure you are fighting fit and truly ready to face the undead! 6 RUN COURSE AND OBSTACLES The course is one lap of Kings Park which is approximately 5KM. The terrain is relatively flat however please be mindful there maybe trip hazards along the way. The course is marked with arrows, black and yellow hazard tape and our ZERO Squad Marshals. If you get lost, look out for marshals in high vis vests who will be able to direct you back on course in the correct direction!

At each obstacle members of our elite ZERO Squad are stationed to help you get through. When approaching the obstacles please take your time and be aware of potential trip hazards. Obstacle No 1: The Zombie Tunnels Obstacle No 2: The Zombie Leap Obstacle No 3: The Zombie Web Obstacle No 5: The Trail Route Obstacle No 6: Spiders Web Obstacle No 7: A Field of Pot Holes Obstacle No 8: The Zombie Maze Obstacle No 9: The Zombie WALL Obstacle No 10: The Zombie Horde. Zombies You will have to avoid the zombies at every step of the way, they have congregated around certain areas of the course so be vigilant. The Zombie virus is incredibly contagious! So make sure you do not touch the zombie, this is a no contact event. When avoiding the zombies remember that these are our friends, our neighbours and our family so please treat them with respect after all, without them we wouldn t be able to put on the event! 7 FIRST AID AND SAFETY If you get injured, scared or lost, please find one of our ZERO Squad marshals in a high-vis vest and they will be able to help. If you see another runner in trouble please stop and assist and let our ZERO Squad marshals know ASAP.

7 Your safety is our number one priority. Please do not put yourself in danger throughout the course. If you see any zombies who are acting inappropriately please let our ZERO squad marshals know and the event management team will assist. 8 EVENT VILLAGE The event village will be made up of the following: Event registration Face Painters Caterers BH Live Active Warm Up area and stage. First Aid 9 TOILETS AND CHANGING FACILITIES Portable toilets will be located in the event village and public toilets are within the café area. Unfortunately there are no changing facilities for this event. 10 WATER One 500ml bottle of water will be provided in the finish funnel at the end of the race. If you need water on the run please ensure you bring a bottle with you. **Please be mindful of littering rubbish bags will be situated across the course. 11 SPECTATORS Zombie Escape is a superb spectator sport! Watch your runner dodge the Zombie horde, hear them scream as they tackle the Zombie Maze, The Zombie Web and The Zombie Tunnels. Enjoy the event village where we have Smooth and warming coffee, hot food caters and face painters and games for the kids. Why not have yourself made up as a zombie and get your picture taken with your runner when they get their survivors T-Shirt! **Participants please be mindful of spectators and please don t put yourself or any others in danger when running from the zombies! 12 WHY ARE DELIVERING THIS EVENT?
