We need to develop a recruitment plan. An idea was to apply parade guest fee to initiation fee if you join. Need a membership committee head establish nominating committee Need to identify active vs inactive members. Add total headcount to roster. Social Board Approximately 25 people in attendance. A total of $ was collected.

3 Sound System Cost is at $7, and it was suggested we spend no additional money without board approval. The additional cost was for amp and sub woofers. The sound shouldn t be so loud you can t have a conversation. We may need money for a voltage regulator as system failure could have been from fluctuations from generator. Possibly a UPS will solve or we should run on 2 separate circuits. D-Mar is prepared to replace generator if necessary. Test with UPS Andy Shelves for Beads Phil needs shelves in bead storage unit. 4 Costume Requirements Compliance We have documented requirements and now need to enforce them. Everyone needs to wear a sash but we don t know who needs them and we only have 6. Do we send people home if they are not costumed correctly? Proposed a fair warning using a photo to document and informing person they cannot participate until they are costumed correctly. We will start having people sign in to facilitate this and using wrist bands to ensure they have signed in and to keep control of who is on our float. Caudell and Voss costumes approved. Call Sue Simoncini, who is interested in costuming. Create ship s log Get wrist bands Poll members to determine who needs a sash Beads Vicki Alloys on their way from China. Consensus was at end of year, if you have beads left in storage you forfeit them.

5 Frank Hancock Frank Hancock passed away and discussion regarding how to remember Krewe members resulting in decision to make $ donation in their memory to the KSM Foundation. Make donation John Guest Fees $ for Knight Parade, St. Pat s and Gasparilla. All others are $ Holiday Parade Review Pace was much better than Fun and Sun. Float was too full on way back to Capogna s; maybe we need to do a bus for Clearwater parades. Estimated 74 participants and a good crowd of spectators. If we are serving adult beverages we need a bartender. If we are not the beer needs to be taken off the float.

6 Fun and Sun is May 7 th. Upcoming Parades Add to website Float Tow Vehicle and Suspension Estimated weight coming back from the Holiday parade was 10,000 and the suspension is good to about 12,000. Another axle would take us to 21,000. We need to limit the number of riders. We need to get tow vehicle finalized. Discussed possibility of purchasing.
