1 Catskill Fire Company, Inc. 1 Central Avenue Catskill, New York Dear Parade Participants: August 1, 2013 The Officers and Members of the Catskill Fire Company, Inc. wish to thank everyone for participating in the 125 th Annual Convention of the Greene County Volunteer Fireman s Association as well as the 10 th Anniversary of the consolidation of the Catskill Fire Department. Enclosed please find all the information regarding this year s convention as well as the rules and Dress Parade Line Up. 2 125 th Greene County Volunteer Fireman s Association Convention Dress Parade Line Up Saturday September 07, 2013 Apparatus Judging at 11:30 am ALL Apparatus Judging will be done at the Catskill Elementary School on Embough Road starting at 11:30 am. The parking lot will be sectioned off by category prior. The parking lot will open for apparatus to arrive starting at 9:30 am. At 11:30 am a horn will sound and EVERYONE will stop cleaning trucks and ONE representative should accompany each apparatus for any questions that the Judges may have. Once your apparatus is Judged you may then proceed to the line up area. Line up at 1:00 pm Line up will be on County Route 23B (Jefferson Heights) starting at the intersection with State Route 23. ALL Units are to enter the parade route via State Route 23 to the Jefferson Heights exit. There will be NO TRAFFIC allowed West on County Route 23B (Jefferson Heights Hill) starting at 12:00 pm. Step off at 2:00 pm (SHARP) Parade Route will be down Jefferson Heights to Main Street. Down Main Street turning right onto Bridge Street over the Uncle Sam Bridge and turning right onto West Main Street and ending in the lot behind Cone-E-Island Ice Cream on West Main Street where there will be entertainment and refreshments and where the awards will be handed out. After the Dress Parade all parade vehicles will park in the High School and Middle School Circles and once that is full will line the School side of West Main Street PARKING FOR DRESS PARADE PARTICIPANTS Parking for Dress Parade Participants will be at the following locations: A. Catskill High School Parking Lot (Enter Off West Bridge Street) B. Catskill Middle School Parking Lot on West Main Street(Enter off Route 9W) C. Candyman Parking on Bridge Street D. ALL PARADE PARTICIPANTS MUST ENTER WATER STREET FROM BRIDGE STREET (near Uncle Sam Bridge). Step off at 6:300 pm (SHARP) Parade Route will be up Water Street to Main Street. Down Main Street turning right onto Bridge Street over the Uncle Sam Bridge and turning right onto West Main Street and ending in the lot behind Cone-E-Island Ice Cream on West Main Street where there will be entertainment and refreshments and where the awards will be handed out.
