The following EHS Graduates received their American FFA Degrees at the National Convention: Luke Hagemeyer, Noah Fouty, Mitchell Wonderly, Kendra Stewart The following individuals received their State FFA Degrees: Claire Meyer, Anna Veryser, Joe Laborie, Mitchell Wonderly, Paul Meyer, Colleen Kreais Students will take part in State End of Course re-testing during the week of December 3. Semester Exams are scheduled for December 20 & 21. Middle School The 8th grade ENN/Bluetube class visited BGSU's VCT (Visual Communications Technology) Department on Wednesday November 7th which is in line with Career readiness and much of the curriculum of that class taught by Mr. Reiser. The students received free t-shirts, while some actually got to make/screen print their own so that they could experience or see this process. Thanks to Mr. Reiser for arranging and to the students for representing the Elmwood Community in fine fashion. Here is what the professor sent Mr. Reiser the next day in an Hi Kyle! Thank you so much for sending that photo! Makes me so happy to see them! I wanted to tell you that Laney, Jerry and I all thought you had the most respectful and attentive kids! We really love what we teach and you and your students were awesome to host in our labs. I gave the thumb drive to Sean Burres, our advanced video instructor, to check out the projects. I will give you any feedback he has, but I am sure he will be impressed with what you are all doing. Again, it was great to meet you and your students. Just let me know if you need anything else. All SLO's are in and have been approved by the committee conferences are going on today and tomorrow The Veteran's Day assembly happened Friday November 9th and again was such an extremely positive event for the district. Thanks to Peggy Keyes, Steve Gehret, Monica Arnold, and Beth Miller for all of their planning and hard work. We raised over $1,400 for Findlay Honor Flight which will send 1 and a half veterans to D.C. Winter sports are underway EMS had just under 63% of all students on the honor roll for the first quarter Elementary All is going well Specific updates will be given next month
