And, while our business is about people and relationships, it s terrific to maximize our time and help our hostesses get the most free jewelry possible!! R - RELATIONSHIPS Relationships the most important part of the business. Offer to mail out the show invitations for your hostess, she will invite more! E EXCITEMENT This is the Home Show part creating the mood and setting. She greets all the guests at the door. This creates the opportunity to build a relationship. She is the best dressed person in the room. She is very excited about our jewelry so gets them to the table right away. She does not give catalogs out until after the presentation. She doesn t carry any jewelry on her table that is less than $25!! Nothing!! She puts jewelry on her hostess right away. She encourages her to wear a solid colored top and then she has HER pick out the ensemble she wants to wear. It may not be what she would have picked but the idea is to have the hostess pick out something she loves. She shows 8 sets of jewelry her jewelry, the hostess jewelry and 6 other sets. She wears $250 worth of jewelry to her shows. You are the fashion expert and women want what other women have. She shows Becca with jewelry and Becca without jewelry she removes everything. So important to show your guests what you look like without jewelry on!!1 She shows 2-3 tricks with the jewelry we show a couple of things about our product but don t get CRAZY. Accept credit cards the average credit card receipt is 50-60% higher than cash or check. Use a WISH LIST. This creates great customer service by talking about he Wish List at check out get a husband s name, mother s name, find out a special event. T TELL HER WHAT TO DO (HOSTESS) Tell her what to wear - Tell her how many to invite for every 4, one guest will come. So if her list is small, call her up and say are there more people you want to invite. Give her 40 guests in 4 minutes get different pockets of people in her life to be invited. Teach and Train your hostess what to do especially those who have never had a show of any kind. A Ask her WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU?! It may be reminder phone calls, bring the snacks (she is busy, poor, etc), what is her favorite piece that you can bring for her to wear that night (you may need to borrow it from another jeweler to have on your table that night), who can you mail a catalog to for her someone out of state? I - INCENTIVE Encouraged to have some kind of incentive at every show! Ex: Bring a guest and you and your guest get a free gift or a discount. L LOVE HER no matter how her show goes. Good news travels fast and bad news travels faster! Tell her you are so excited to be there with her. Rebook her b/c she may be more apt to do another. Send her a birthday cards/ Christmas cards great way to build relationships. Send every hostess an invitation to your sample sale. She was im- mediately attracted to the business, and her goal originally was to work Premier to pay for daycare expenses. Wendy admits, she got off on a slow start in the begin- ning feeling awkward and insecure about asking for bookings at the shows, But now she and Gilbert have BIGGER plans for Premier! They have their sites set on a new home! She has no local training, but said she has been reading everything that she receives from her Upline and Premier, and is approaching her business now with ENTHUSIASM!!
