All Veteran s are invited and students are encouraged to invite special Veterans in their lives. Our program will last approximately one hour. We are looking forward to honoring our Veterans! E-Learning Practice Day: COMING SOON! In an effort to prepare for possible weather conditions that could keep us from coming to school, we will be having a practice e-learning day at FES on Tuesday, November 1st. Students will come to school on this day and use time in the morning to complete school work on their ipads. To create an even more realistic e-learning day we will add to the fun and have a pajama day! Students are encouraged and welcome to wear their comfy pjs and bring slippers on this day! While students practice e-learning days at school, it s a great reminder for parents to check Skyward and make sure your contact numbers are up to date! When logging in to Skyward, click the Skylert tab on the left to confirm/update your info! You can even add grandma and/or the babysitter so everyone is aware of delays and closings! 4 ipads A friendly reminder that ipads should be charged at home each day. Chargers were sent home at the beginning of the year with each student. We have several students coming to school each day with low battery. In order for the devices to be used effectively, they must have a full charge each day! Also, if not already, ipads will be sent home daily starting November 1st! (This includes weekends!) Lost and Found The FES Lost and Found table is filling up! All items will be cleared and donated after school on Friday, November 4th. If your child is missing something, please have him/her check the tables. Also, if you haven t already, please write your child s name in his/her jackets, hats, lunchboxes, etc. Below is a picture of our Lost any Found table. Fortville Elementary School Page 4
