His mother said, Don t worry, I ll tie a piece of string to one of your legs and the other end to mine. The baby started to cry. What s wrong? said the mother. I don t want to be pigeon towed. My daughter asked me for a pet spider for her birthday, so I went to the local pet shop and they were $70!!!! Blow this, I thought, I can get one cheaper off the Web. Young Freddie in church for the first time, watched as the ushers passed the offering plates. When they neared the pew where he sat, the boy piped up Don t pay for me Daddy, I m under five. A pastor goes to the dentist for a set of false teeth. The first Sunday after he gets his teeth, he talks for only eight minutes. The second Sunday, he talks for only ten minutes. The following Sunday, he talks for 2 hours and 48 minutes. The congregation had to mob him to get him down from the pulpit and asked him what happened. The pastor explains the first Sunday his gums hurt so bad he couldn t talk for more than 8 minutes. The second Sunday his gums hurt too much to talk more than 10 minutes. But the third Sunday, by mistake he put his wife s teeth in and couldn t shut up.

CALOUNDRA INDOOR BOWLING ASSOCIATION INC News from Caloundra. Has this happened before?? That the final of a State Championship event was contested by one family. In the recent final of the 4 Bowls at Toowoomba, the Open Fours were contested by David and Carmel Blyth teams. (The Blyth family). With Carmel in her team was her son Bradley Stoker, Sister-in-law Julie Wiegand and Mother in-law Dawn Blyth. David s team consisted of nephew Ryan Wiegand, father Len Blyth and son David Stoker with 3 generations playing together. Is this a first, also 3 generations playing together and winning a Championship!!!! It was a real family battle for most of the game until David s team edged ahead with a few ends to go. Well folks Christmas is racing towards us and Caloundra is holding it s Christmas Weekend of Bowls at Burke Street on 26 th & 27th November. This year is our 35 th Anniversary and on the Sunday we will be having the usual Rinks and a Barbecue Lunch as well as Morning Tea all for $7.00 for the day. Try to keep this date free and come along and join us for this special occasion. We recently held a day for the Seniors and also our Ladies Day with over a 100 people on each of those days. Busy but it was all worth the effort and we had very good feedback from both of these events. Happy bowling to you all and we hope to see you at Burke Street on 26 th and 27 th November Happy bowling Doreen Secretary
