2 Results Minor Hurling Well done to Valley Rovers Minor Hurlers who defeated Bishopstown tonight in the semi final of the Premier Minor Hurling Championship on a scoreline of 1-11 to Valleys are now through to the County Final against Fr O Neills. Well done to all involved. The team lined out as follows: Conor O'Sullivan, Joseph Lynch, Tim Cummins, David Healy, Aidan Walsh, John Cottrell, Anthony McCarthy, Darragh Murphy, Joe Lynch, Eoin Fallon, Gary Farrell, Jason Crowley, Tomas O'Brien, Derek Canty, Tim Lehane. Congratulations and best wishes in the County Final. Juvenile Report Valley Rovers Juvenile Club would like to thank all those who contributed to our annual Church Gate Collection during the past weekend. Thank you, your support is very much appreciated. The Under 13 hurlers went on a trip this weekend to Ardfert Co. Kerry to play in a competition in which they did the parish proud. After the competition the lads went on to the Aquadome for some well deserved R&R before returning home. Well done to all involved. The Under 14s footballers had a league match this weekend against Midleton. Which Valleys won by 3-18 to Well done to all involved. Page 2 of 5

These competitions will run in the first stages of the competitions from the 11th-31st of October 2011 Scor Sinsir: Competitions over the 17 years from the 1th of January. These competitions will run in the first stages of the competitions from the 1th November-31st December 2011 This would be a great opportunity for any hidden talent within the club to represent their Club, Valley Rovers, in any of the above categories. 4 Camogie Report Junior B Championship Valleys played Douglas in their 1st round robin game of the championship on Sunday evening in a wet and weary Brinny, and came away with a victory on a scoreline of 2-3 to 0-3. Valleys play St. Finbarrs in the next round of the competition next weekend. Team: Niamh Glavin, Laoighse McCarthy, Fiona O'Sullivan, Adele Looney, Marie Forde, Susan O'Leary, Claire Ryan, Orlagh Ryan, Áine Coughlan, Eileen Foley, Dolores Crowley, Bernie Shiels, Elaine Forde, Mary Crowley, Caroline O'Riordan, Rebecca O'Regan, Nancy O'Driscoll. U13 South East Valleys played Ballygarvan in the Semi-Final of the South East last Tuesday evening in Ballygarvan. After a great game of camogie Valleys were defeated by a better team on a score of, Ballygarvan 5-4 to V.R Team: Daire Kiely, Ellen Casey, Aileen Cremin, Celine Lordan, Ciara Murphy, Michelle Cottrell, Maeve O'Brien, Laura Brew, Maróg Murphy, Sarah Murphy, Rachel O'Sullivan, Eimear Kiely, Kate Bernard, Grace O'Reilly, Sharon McCarthy, Amy Coveney, Emma O'Brien. U8 and U10 Go-Games Due to adverse weather conditions at the weekend the Go-Games that was due to take place in Millstreet was cancelled and another date will be arranged for these games. Senior A Championship Carrigdhoun were defeated by Courcey Rovers in the Quarter Final of the Senior A Camogie Championship on Sunday on a score of Courcey Rovers 4-6 to Carrighdoun 2-9. Valleys were represented on the team by Gillian Harrington, Annemarie Murphy, Ena Coughlan, Tessa Crowley, Clodagh Deasy, Liz Bugler, Connie Hawkes and selector Mary Bugler. In the past this service was restricted to O2 and Vodafone but now it is available to Meteor customers. Unfortunately O2 have decided to no longer support this service as of the 29 th of August.
