2 Golf Committee Junior Golf Clinics June 26 29, July 6 9 & 17 20, August & The Woodland Junior Golf Clinics teach all aspects of the golf game to the junior golfer in a fun and supportive environment. Each clinic includes golf and video instruction, lunch, and playing lessons on the golf course. Advanced Junior Golf Clinics Saturday and Sunday May The Advanced Junior Golf Clinics are designed for the experienced junior golfer. This clinic will help improve your junior s game to the next level. The program will focus on all aspects of the game, as well as practice routines and competitive golf. Each junior will receive individual instruction, detailed video swing analysis, and a playing lesson with Woodland s PGA Professionals. Cost is $150 per junior and spots will be limited, please sign up in advance. 3 Join us this summer!! (formerly Camp Woodland ) WOODLAND ACADEMY August 3rd - 6th & August 17th - 20th REGISTRATION: Registrations are accepted in the order received. The enclosed form must be completed to register for Camp Woodland. If a session is filled, wait listing may be requested. The Club will make every effort to inform wait listed campers when an opening arises. Each child may register for both of the two sessions. All cancellations must be made in writing to the General Manager, David Garfinkel. ACADEMY MENU Lunch is provided daily and will consist of a menu from the following: Chicken fingers, french fries, hot dogs, fruit cup, mac & cheese, garden salad, penne pasta with meatballs and hamburgers or cheeseburgers. ACADEMY SCHEDULE 8:45-8:55am Arrival at Main Clubhouse Circle 8:55-9:05am Transition to first activity 9:05-9:50am 1st activity (golf, tennis, or swim) 9:50-10:05am Transition to second activity 10:05-10:50am 2nd activity (golf, tennis, or swim) 10:50-11:05am Transition to third activity 11:05-11:50am 3rd activity (golf, tennis, or swim) 11:50 - Noon Transition to lunch Noon - 12:30pm Lunch 12:30pm Departure from Main Clubhouse Entrance ELIGIBILITY: Children ages 5-11 are welcome to participate in Camp Woodland. The age of each child on the first day of participation will be the basis for grouping the children. The children will be organized into the following groups: (12 children per group) Group I: 5-7 yrs Group II: 8-9 yrs Group II: 9-11 yrs ATTIRE: Children should bring two bathing suits, a tennis reacket and golf clubs daily. Tennis rackets and golf clubs cannot be stored during the week at Woodland. Children must adhere to dress code guidelines for the sports in which they will be participating. Refer to the Membership Information Booklet for the dress code associated with the clubhouse and programs for tennis and golf. All clothing and equipment must be labeled with your child s name. Tennis sneakers should be worn daily. Please apply sunscreen before dropping children at Camp Woodland. During inclement weather, the Main Dining Room will be the center of activity. Organized activities for the children will be scheduled. DUES: All fees will be charged to your Woodland Account. The fee for each child is $195 weekly. Fees include a daily beverage, general program, games and crafts. Members may choose to have their child participate in the tennis, swimming and golf instructional programs without signing them up for Camp Woodland; however, Camp Woodland activities will be available only to those children who have registered for Camp Woodland. Due to staffing requirements, refunds will not be given for days missed, no shows, or cancellations less than 2 weeks in advance of the starting date for the session....
